Hi,

Decent start for us to the new season, unlucky for you. Sure you would have been happy with a point at Bradford.

Just a few questions to ask you all ahead of Wednesday's game:

1) What are your expectations for the season ahead?

2) How likely do YOU believe a return to the Ricoh is for you? (best of luck with it by the way)

3) Who are your star players, and who should we look out for on Wednesday?

4) What are your thoughts on Cardiff City for the season ahead?

5) Which of our players do you consider to cause your team the most problems?

6) Finally, what is your score prediction?

Best of luck for the season, and even more good luck to get Coventry back in Coventry.

Thanks.

Hi there, star players? Not sure we have any left, unless a new academy star comes through, should be back in the Ricoh within 2 weeks hopefully

1) Mid-Table. Hoping things will come good when we find a tactic that works, and the players 'gel'.
2) I feel it will happen, but I try not to get my hopes up. They're only ever shot down supporting Coventry...
3) Reda Johnson (league's joint top scorer

) has a good scoring rate for a defender, had a mixed debut but hoping he can find some solid defensive form. John Fleck is our star player, on his day he's easily a championship quality midfielder.
4) I'd be very surprised if you weren't promoted, given how much depth and quality your squad has.
5) Kenwyne Jones. Our defensive weak spot is height and heading, so I can see him being quite difficult to deal with.
6) 3/4-0. Cardiff's quality will shine through in the end, and I don't think we have the quality to break down your defense. Wierd things happen in the cup, though!

1. Automatic promotion. Title winners. We can dream, right? ;)
2. I'm hoping talks will now re-commence. But I can't see things changing anytime soon.
3. Star players? Tricky one that. I still think fleck is our best technical player, although as you may have read on here our manager is concerned about his fitness. Still think he offers us more even if unfit. Having so many (7) new players, it's difficult to say which of those May be stars.
4. I think Cardiff will be up there doing well. Promotion maybe via the play offs.
5. Not sure who you have in your team now a days. Not worried about Gunnarsson though. Over rated and too cocky for my liking :) Jones is a decent player and will probably cause us problems if we set up on Wednesday as we did yesterday. And I see you have Le Fondre now. He's always been quality. And. Whittlingham is always a good player to have in your team.
6. Gonna go for a 3-1 win for CCFC, unfortunately not the one I support though :(

What sort of a team do you think Ole will put out?

Your forward line is outstanding, Kenwyne Jones vs Reda Johnson is gonna be one heck of a battle.

Thanks for stopping by, I'm looking forward to the game and by the sound of things so are you. It will be interesting to see how our side do against you given our result yesterday.

1) Top half finish but that depends if we get a couple of played before the end of the window
2) Very likely, expect us to be back before Xmas
3) Reda Johnson is becoming a fans favourite after yesterday, Jim O'Brien was apparently our best player yesterday and John Fleck if he starts
4) Think you'll finish in the play-offs; not convinced OGS is the man for the job
5) Gunnarson because he is ex-Cov, and Kenwyne Jones looked sharp for you on Friday. Marshall is also a very good keeper, probably the best in the Champ.
6) 3-1 to you. Cannot see us winning.

Good luck for the season! :)

Hi,

Just a few questions to ask you all ahead of Wednesday's game:

1) What are your expectations for the season ahead? More misery & lies.
2) How likely do YOU believe a return to the Ricoh is for you? (best of luck with it by the way) This season, still unlikely
3) Who are your star players, and who should we look out for on Wednesday? Reda Johnson, he could star or totally give the game away
4) What are your thoughts on Cardiff City for the season ahead? Good luck, but I don't reckon Ole will survive Xmas unless he is set fair for automatic promotion
5) Which of our players do you consider to cause your team the most problems? Kenwyne Jones, still got it.
6) Finally, what is your score prediction? 3-1 to you guys

Best of luck for the season, and even more good luck to get Coventry back in Coventry. BOL to you too.. life is a roller coaster

Thanks.

Why are people crowing about Kenwyn Jones? Garbage.
Not adequate for the prem any more, but against a division 3 side!

1) What are your expectations for the season ahead?

I think we will struggle and once injuries and suspensions set in, we'll seriously struggle, I expect us to battle relegation and I'm not confident of avoiding it.

2) How likely do YOU believe a return to the Ricoh is for you? (best of luck with it by the way)

One day it will happen, but despite all the recent talk I don't belive anything has happened towards it at all and we are just as far away as we have been, I think we are going to have to wait for the JR appeal to be turned down twice more (or god forbid go ahead) before we can move on. Nothing positive to happen towards it in the next month imo

3) Who are your star players, and who should we look out for on Wednesday?

I don't even know what our players look like anymore, 7 debuts on saturday and 12 of the matchday squad were different to the one that ended the season, our star players are playing for other teams.

4) What are your thoughts on Cardiff City for the season ahead?

No Thoughts, no interest sorry.

5) Which of our players do you consider to cause your team the most problems?

6) Finally, what is your score prediction?

Depends how seriously you take the game, put out a full strength squad and I expect you to win 3-0

Best of luck for the season, and even more good luck to get Coventry back in Coventry.

ty and good luck for your season

Thanks.

Thanks for all the responses.

I think it will be a strongish team. A few key players may be rested for Huddersfield at home on Saturday, but should be a decent team. We're expected to sign Michael Keane on season-long loan tomorrow (been on loan at Blackburn, Derby and Leicester in the past) so i'd expect him to get his first start if it's done in time.

At a guess I would say our team will be:

Simon Moore

John Brayford
Kevin Theophile-Catherine
Michael Keane
Declan John

Kadeem Harris
Tom Adeyemi
Kagisho Dikgacoi
Guido Burgstaller

Adam Le Fondre
Javi Guerra

That's just a guess on my part though - could be completely wrong!

1) What are your expectations for the season ahead?

Solid mid table finish if we keep the first 11 together. Bottom half if we lose a couple of key players.

2) How likely do YOU believe a return to the Ricoh is for you? (best of luck with it by the way)

All depends on Sisu changing their mind. Hasn't happened yet, but we live in hope. If I had to place a bet I'd say we won't be back this season.

3) Who are your star players, and who should we look out for on Wednesday?

On paper, Tudgay and Johnson. Though Swanson and O'Brien seem to be doing reasonably and might have it in their locker to hurt you. But to be honest, I don't think you should be worried about anyone. All our real quality players were sold or released in the last year. Some of the new guys might be awesome, but they haven't shown it yet, but we've only had 1 game.

4) What are your thoughts on Cardiff City for the season ahead?

Honestly, I have none. I have some sympathy with you because of the whole shit owners pissing all over fans' wishes thing, and I wish you all the best for that.

5) Which of our players do you consider to cause your team the most problems?

Sorry, I have no idea about any of your players. Edit: scratch that, just seen your post. Le Fondre I've heard of as we were after him a while ago, so I'll go for him.

6) Finally, what is your score prediction?

4-2 to you. We can score but we leak goals for fun.
