No need to bump it mate, if I was coming on here telling everyone I disagreed with that they didn't understand football and I've done all the reasearch, and I was absolutely certain we won't go down, then I'd feel obliged to put my money where my mouth was.
If you're so definite, then stick, say, a ton on it, or even fifty - it's easy money, surely?
The truth is that you can take whatever opinion you like on whether we'll do well or struggle, and find something to support it. The fact is, that for everything you've said, you're no more willing to lay cold hard cash down on your opinion than I am on mine.
My opinion, for what it's worth, is still that this is a very thin squad, and as long as we're at Northampton the scope for improving it isn't great. I suspect a season like last year, where we'll do well for a while and then fall away. Accepted that other teams have thin squads too - it could be that the key to success or failure will be the teams who don't lose their key players (a matter of luck, and perhaps finances).
Assuming our luck holds out, and we don't get many injuries, then if our key players are primarily loans or on short-term contracts, will be able to hold on to them after January assuming they are flying? I'm not sure, in truth.
So, this isn't cut and dried one way or the other, no matter what you might say. To point that out isn't being negative, imho.
