Just came back on the site and noticed skyblue4u's thread about attending Sixfields has been taken off.
why was that because the way he worded it,or did it touch a nerve ?

At least 3 of those 6 rules are broken on virtually every single thread every day. Out of curiosity, which rule was broken on this occasion?

I thought it was fairly obvious that calling people scabs would contravene the following:-

No Trolling, Flaming or Winding Up

Everybody will be having a laugh and a joke with mates on here but please do not take this too far. If you don't know somebody very well then please don't lay into them as a joke when you don't know how they will take it as they may have a different sense of humour as you and be offended.

Parasites is a bit strong.
But I still reckon a total boycott would see us back home. Nothing wrong in that statement is there ?

No issues with you saying that, but it was clearly made just to cause a bit of beef ;) For the 1000000000th time too!

If you are going to enforce 'no trolling, flaming or winding up, then I think you had better close down the site, cos you'd only have about 3 people posting on here.

Or one poster with multuple user names.

I'm not quite sure what trolling is to be honest (is it being beastly towards fellow fans?) but are you seriously suggesting that winding up and inflammatory behaviour doesn't occur on this forum on just about every thread?

It seems to me as though censorship on this occasion has been used selectively because it doesn't fit in with the administrator’s viewpoint. Either that or it's pandering to the oversensitive.

Ahhh that old bollox about it not fitting into my viewpoint. This forum is one of the least moderated I could think of.

The fact it was done blatantly to try and cause trouble and somebody picked up on it. Non starter really but I will leave you to the conspiracies, any issues then PM me to discuss it :)

You can tell when somebody is just doing something to cause trouble as they then just start another thread kicking off ;)

Would Blackleg be more acceptable then?

My personal opinion is that name calling of any sort is wrong.

The reason it is the ones about sixfield attendees that tend to get deleted is that they tend to be the most vitriolic. I don't attend sixfields but think it is wrong to call sixfields attendees names like scab or parasite. They are just fans at the end of the day and doing what they think is best. Because you disagree with their opinion you think it's ok to call them names. Suggest you do this to your boss next time you disagree with him if you think it is ok.
