I'm a born and bred Coventrian, I now live in Tamworth, but I work in Manchester.

I spend 3 nights a week in Manchester in a house share arrangement.

While I was away last week on holiday (actually I was on honeymoon, but that's another story)

My landlady accidentally dropped and broke my CCFC mug, alarmed by this and thinking it meant something to me she searched around the internet to find a replacement. In the end she purchased a replacement from the club website.

She has no connection with Coventry, no idea of the issues with the football club and no idea of my personal stance.

It was very sweet of her to replace the mug, but I really wasn't attached to it in any way.

I don't think I'll tell her anything, just accept it as a kind gesture.

I wouldn't worry about it, people didn't when we played arsenal!

Not sure I'll buy any kits this year though!

Ah the good old Arsenal argument. Yet I don't think I have ever met anyone say they were fully NOPM and went ..........

Does it even still exist?

tbf, anyone genuinely buying one of those gnomes would keep it quiet, even if we were top of the league...

Questioning peoples morals. It is you who is a plonk. Whatever a plonk is.

I would assume he is using the word plonk as a shortened version of plonker. It is an accepted use of the word plonk within the English Language. However plonk can have other meanings as well.

Dropped mine, and the wife said ' shall i pick you another one up?' told her 'NO! I'd sooner drink out of the son-in-lws villa mug' that is how much this lot have pissed me off. A club I loved and one I hated, not really arsed by either now.
