I'm sure that ACL and CCC are now celebrating, but at what? ACL could be out of business in a year or two and who will foot this 14million pound debt? The tax payer.
SISU will want revenge on anything that moves and this verdict will see stubborn Joy's resolve. She is not a forgiving person, which counters every religious perspective, and will be only interested now in 'getting one back' at CCC and ACL.

Anyone of you who celebrate this decision only sees you hate for one of these parties. To think all this has happened by literally 4 or 5 people beggars belief, and how the judge came to his conclusion (60secs) only shows how much he wanted shut of this case.

Why are you assuming ACL/CCC are celebrating. It has been driven by SISU not them. Their door is open for discussion read their statement!

It is up to SISU now. Time to stop the flawed legal battles and start moving forward. But looking at their track record I don't think they have the business and public relation skills to do it.

The judge didn't take 60 seconds idiot, he took several weeks, read the report not the verdict.

Anyhow, its has now being shown in a court of law that all events leading to CCFC playing in Northampton were down to one side. Therefore we are pretty entitled to hate sisu IMO.

Don't think ACL or CCC will be celebrating, happy they have not lost, as anyone would be. But SISU bought the case against them and have been found in the wrong.

I would hope that this helps to jog them in the right direction, but somehow can't see it as SISU only seem to follow their own logic. I for one cannot understand it, but as i see SISU as the ones in 'more' wrong than the others I'm please with the outcome.

I think already many have shown their true colours, and I think many on here will continue to be the same.
Your hatred for SISU is almost paranoia. The council and ACL have NEVER shown their intent on bringing CCFC back to the Ricoh.
But, as much as I dislike everything about ACL my feelings are mirrored for SISU whose only good point is they saved us from going under. And that is why some supporters support them.
Not through support for them but through gratitude for what happened 3 years ago when they save us.

Hobo, you really need go look in the mirror. calling a person an idiot when you call yourself a hobo, go figure?

Has it? (Admittedly I haven't read the transcript yet). I thought the judgement was solely around whether it was a lawful use of public funding and whether processes had been followed?

The judge has stated that Sisu's whole plan to own the stadium fell apart the second they started messing Higgs about in relation to buying their share.

Then also in February 2013 there was one last chance. CCFC and ACL agreed a rental deal of £400k, Tim Fisher shook hands on it, JS then vetoed it. Her actions at this point are the reason we are playing in Northampton.

the actually decision took there weeks at least not 60 seconds as you say otherwise it would of been sorted at the JR

do not see what there is to celebrate......... no doubt there will be more legal moves and more of the same over the next few months.

I would think both ACL and CCC are very well aware of that. Fisher has already said they will appeal.

This however has never ever been about the football club for SISU............ it has only ever been about a high risk investment strategy

As for ACL being out of business in a year or two that's your opinion paulw there is very little evidence to support it. Not saying it couldn't happen but the balance of evidence available at the moment does not point to that.

It's a lot more than that, Stu, the judge gives a fairly detailed breakdown of the chain of events and what he sees as SISU's plan and motivation. It's fairly damning of SISU, I'd say, but have a read and see what you think for yourself. You'll want to make yourself a cuppa first, it's 46 pages long (iirc). ;)

Regardless, time to move on I hope, and get everyone talking about a deal for the future rather than to keep banging on about the past.

Edit: As for celebrating, per the OP, I doubt anyone who supports the club feels much like that whilst we're still in Northampton. I'd imagine relief is the main emotion at the council, and frustration is probably boiling away at SISU HQ. For fans it's most likely either anger or apathy, I'd guess. What would be nice for a change, would be a little hope...

So basically the judge is saying that the last judge (Higgs £29k) was wrong when he said that the deal collapsed because all sides lost their appetite for a deal?

42. Nothing in the evidence before me causes me to doubt any of the findings of fact made by Leggatt J on the evidence before him. Indeed, the evidence I have seen merely confirms them. By the end of August 2012, SISU buying into ACL by purchasing Higgs Charity’s share was simply not an option:

Ok fair enough, I probably loaded that quote slightly.

He does state that Higgs lost their appetite for the deal due to Sisu being unable to provide enough security for the buy now pay later deal for the Higgs share.

I called you an idiot because you suggested the judge took 60 seconds to come to his conclusion....when in fact he has been compiling his report for several weeks.

Hobo is a tag on a forum, I wouldn't try and read to much into it.

Anyway, what is wrong with migrant workers. People who are prepared to travel for work. I have lived and worked all over the UK and remained a supporter of the club and proud of it. I have never been out of work in since leaving school at 18 and I am now 53. What's your beef?

Mr paulw or whatever you are calling yourself this month, did you see this one I posted on another thread over an hour ago...

Time for both sides to see the light and start working towards a realistic deal for all parties.

SISU have been her long enough now and it's about time they actually started moving the club forward. The way to do that is to get back to the Ricoh...it's the only viable solution for everyone concerned, SISU, CCFC, ACL, CCC and most importantly for the fans.

You need to read the Judgement, allow about 1 hour to read it. What I found was SISU set out to distress ACL to get control of ACL debt and then control of the RICOH for nothing. I now belive what a fan told me that SISU sent CCFC down to league 1 which then made ACL worth less. This has been their long term plan to distress ACL, make the club worth less and buy ACL on the cheap.SISU have no interest in winning on the pitch.

I thought at the time it was a little strange before the season we were suddenly bookies favourites to go down. Yes I know we had been towards the bottom for a while but we were still Coventry City.
