Nicer quality bench! And more cash!
Love this story. It shows why the people on here know nothing about football. ManC would not be signing him out of pity but because they rate him, more than what people on here do. And I have never begrudged someone because of their salary. I don't value life that way. But, it's obvious now that the average joe does. Cynical and envy is a dangerous mix.

So he has gone back to the club he left for first team football...
He will be 3rd choice and just getting anther good payday.
Man City will sign him for a simple reason, they need home grown players included in ther 25 man squad, so instead of buying a home grown player at stupid inflated prices, sign the free ones just to make up the numbers.
They are not stupid.
You don't become a bad keeper over night and since leaving us he hasn't had much game time. He is more than capable in the Premier league. Good luck to him.
seems to me to be a perfect fit for both.....home grown, free and fits in with FFP rules, whilst a very capable NO2 keeper who will be at a much bigger club earning way more money and keeping his fingers crossed that JOE has another mare in november and gets left out for a month or 2 .

The same Man City that signed Richard Wright and Stuart Taylor because they were top class keepers, right? :thinking about:
hey, fuck it man, if Manchester city have more money than sense, and wanna blow massive amounts on players that i may personally consider not quite top level then thats completely up to them, and if some multi quadrupal billionzillionaire offered me a contract id bite his hand off(especially because im shit in goal) lol
Tbf if your going to join any club to become a bench warmer or worse off being no 3,4 etc, Man City Is probably the team to sign for!![]()

For your information, I never claimed to know much about football - I'm just a smart arse. Envy - nah. Cynicism - this site is borne of it & the love of an under performing club in a city where I was born.
