If it is true and we get three million for him.
I have no issue with that.
That is our current model develop youth and sell them and invest back in the team.
However I need to see the money reinvested so far I have seen little proof of that.
So if SP gets 3 million added to his transfer budget I would be surprised if we didn't get in the play offs.

The good thing is it is happening now and not in the last week of the window or January

like he got the Clarke money or Arsenal money ?

The money generated was used to fund losses, something that SISU have done since they arrived at the club.

Also, it is interesting that some were convinced that 'NOPM - Up the Council'! was close starving sisu out of the club.

I feel so much better now. I must have been silly to think it was SISU that took us away from Coventry and refused to bring our club home thus decimating our income.

There is more one than one party who is to blame for us not being in Coventry.

Nottingham Forest have beaten both Wolves and Bournemouth to the signing of Coventry striker Callum Wilson.

Forest are set to unveil the Wolves target later today, alongside the signing of Hull City's Matty Fryatt.

Bournemouth had a seven-figure bid rejected over the weekend, whilst Nottingham Forest have made a bid reportedly in-excess of £3million according to local media talk in Coventry.

It's not known whether or not Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett got as far as making a bid, but we were heavily rumoured to be monitoring the situation, but for that kind of money we were never going to get too heavily involved.
