Big event at the RICOH this week end, the land by Tesco been cleared for camping. Network rail clearing the land at the side of the track to start construction of the new station (to start in two weeks). RICOH worker said no chance of ACL going bust.

Would a 'worker' know this information?

It never has for some on here, just glad that we're not there and holding back a community asset from making loads of money for the hard-pressed taxpayers and charities of Coventry.

A selfless act by the club that should be applauded.

This must be for the computer gamers event over easter. Presumably ACL are testing the water for festival type events with adjacent camping.

Having bailed out ACL to the tune of £14 million & Coombe Abbey £6:5 million I bet your pleased to have such a profitable asset that rents the gound to 'Development' teams like Leicester & WBA for just £1750!
I'm still laughing!!!!!!!!!!!

Odd when someone asks about ACL and their finances we are told he is on the wrong forum.

When someone posts a very sketchy item to suggest financial stability so called football supporters like jack griffin seem to be positively aroused by it.

Why is that do we think.

Mate, seriously, what's this "you're" pleased bit? Do you not see yourself included in something which, no matter who you believe at fault, is part of your city (presume you live in or were born in Cov).

And I can't fathom out why you would see this as a laughing matter.....forget the SISU/ACL/CCC battle, are you not pissed off the Ricoh is having shitty youth teams playing when it could be the Sky Blues?

it must be a pretty big event in the gamers calander i have a cousin traveling from Londonderry (or derry if you prefer) for this and its all the sad B'stard has talked about on facebook for weeks. still i'll get to see him at some point over the weekend so it cant all be bad. not sure if he's camping though, most likely he's staying on my sofa and he just hasn't told me yet.
