@ Grendel. No I am not a qualified lawyer. You seem to think that CCC have been caught out and I thought you could maybe explain how and what effect this will have.

Thank you for your efforts -- it has been very much appreciated.

Remember though -- on here ignore any facts -- stick to the mantra that the council is King --or expect to go the same way as Les Reid etc.

Strange but the only other posts suggesting this way back @ 908 +911 ,were well ,"wide of the mark" .nobody but nobody has given off a negative vibe in robs direction today or yesterday.

Torch, Lord & Fernando,
(would have included Sick Boy but he may struggle to be in two places at once.)

You have left Grendel fending for himself.
He is not even getting Torch liking his comments. Something that has never happened before.

I am going to have to step in the Frey.

Grendel is arguing the other side to this however because of his posting history he is getting flack about hardons and wanking.

You should be able to debate this matter and I would guess quite quickly win without resulting to such low level tactics.

to the effect, that, as 1 of thousands, & as a CCFC fan have been ritually abused by the outfit that control MY CLUB,

Does no one find this bit from PWKH as curious .

Why would he drop this out there .

There must be some relevance .

What with rumours of meetings with Warwick Uni over Stadium and articles of expansion there Including Sporting facilities but dependent on rich benefactors ,to the tune of £250M.

It also emerged that a mystery investor had contacted the Higgs Charity about a potential purchase of its shares in Ricoh Arena operating company ACL.
The investor, simply referred to as ‘‘Mr Majid’’ was described by Mr Knatchbull-Hugessen as ‘‘a benefactor of one of the two Coventry universities’’

A generous donation from a Coventry alumnus is funding ten international scholarships worth £5,000 and purchasing a new flight simulator. Majid Alsadi, who studied for a part-time MPhil-PhD in Mechanical Engineering in the 1980s, donated £185,000 to the University. He has pledged £50,000 towards scholarships and the remaining £135,000 towards a new Flight Simulator for the Computing and Engineering Faculty and the refurbishment of the old one in the aeronautical labs.

Majid has fond memories of his time at Coventry and wanted to help other international students enjoy the same opportunities he had by launching the Majid Alsadi Scholarship Foundation. A well-regarded entrepreneur and successful Iraqi national based in Amman in Jordan, Majid is the Chairman of Eastern Investment Group Holdings, a major Middle East company with interests in airline training and simulation, airport management and catering, property, security services and the environment.

Are you? Seems like a fair point to me.

I have done a lot of work with commercial contracts and in my professional opinion can advise, trying to be independent, that as long as the judge doesn't get too bogged down in the "who said what to who" nonsense, he/she is likely to look at the broader picture of a council trying to prevent one of its joint venture investments being broken and taken over by a hostile tenant as sufficient justification for taking of the bank loan and judge this to be legal.

State aid doesn't have much to do with contract law old bean. It's about the state distorting the market by assisting a company with state funds.

Are you a qualified lawyer?

Does he have to be Grendel? A lot of our courts decisions are made by a jury. Yes they are guided by experts, but not lawyers!

Are you getting a JR mixed up with a different court case?

The question is as absurd as the fool who posted it, so OK how many clubs have been promoted from that Division who have had a player called Callum Wilson playing for them? It is an irrelevant remark, no club without full access to revenues has ever succeeded -- clubs who have had periods of instability and been moved away from its base have - as long as they return and get full revenue access -- e.g. Brighton.

Typical SISU line, except it isn't about the pie money anymore. So you know how the finances work at every other club? Just like most clubs own their own ground......except they don't. Or no club will ever do any good that don't own their own ground. Also wrong. Very wrong.

When SISU took over we had average crowds of 23,000 IIRC. Now we are hovering around the 1,600 mark. They have lost well over 90% of their customers. This is the sort of revenue loss that kills a club. Not a small amount for a few pies and drinks. Yet you praise them when you can and get all excited when you see another target you have a chance of blaming. And you seem to believe SISU before anyone else although they rarely seem to tell us the truth. They got caught out so many times that they don't answer any questions any more.

Looking forward to seeing if you cream your pants today as it should be the SISU turn to get questioned. It could be fun. We might find some interesting things out that we have been waiting for.

Astute it will be interesting to hear what bullshit they tell us under oath they are totally to blame for the position we are in.If we'd of still been at the ricoh they would of made over 1million profit this year

I still think we have had a lucky escape Sisu not getting the Ricoh. I know we are in the worst state ever but they don't give a shit about ccfc or the fans. It amazes me that some on hear and the sixfields 1500 still hang off their every word.
Once they lose this case and the JR I expect them to fuck off.
Liquidation myth bring it on. Its only the Sisu muppets that bring this one up to try and scare the masses. The most valuable asset that Sisu have is the golden share which is probably worth about 10million. They are hardly likely to liquidate making this asset worthless !!

I just hope that Fisher is there to get questioned. And if it is OK to question about a balloon being put on a car it should be OK to be questioned about financial matters. Maybe even about the structures of how our club is run. And he won't find it easy to ignore questions or change the subject.

It wouldn't surprise me if suddenly they decide to pay the 29k so that they don't have to get questioned.

I thought I got up early! Some of you guys are on the case early. Astute, what you say about Sisu paying the £29,000 to avoid being questioned, that is a possibility. Yes.
Should be interesting. Hope Simon Gilbert keeps us informed.
Whatever, should be interesting.
And please, an end to this madness.

I can't see a full liquidation unless they get the Ricoh. A liquidation then would hand the Ricoh to them. They could slowly get their money back by getting a low rental agreement at the Ricoh and run our club on a shoestring. Then if we managed a promotion our clubs value would go up. They would get their money back much easier this way.

Started work just after 5am. Been doing OT all week. Had this to keep me occupied. But not allowed a phone at work so have to be careful when I look.

It's not an absurd question and certainly not irrelevant. You keep banging on about promotion to the premiership without the pie money, well let's put the horse before the cart shall we. We need to go up a division first before we can even start dreaming about the premiership. So I'll ask you the relevant question again.

How many clubs have won promotion from the third tier playing home games 35miles away in front of crowds less than 2000? Lets see if you can give a straight answer instead of the absurd ramblings you've given so far.

Astute they will never get their hands on the Ricoh. Do you really think that the council would sell to them after all this ?

But they've already turned down an offer of free rent for a year and then a structured rent deal starting at £100000 what are these bastards really up to somewhere to stick all the rest of their debt from other ventures. They certainly don't no how to run a business

Coop how could you say that? Mark labovitch has been very clear on all things sky blue. They want to enable CCfc to be a successful league 2 football club

Obviously the sixfields 1500 realize that promotion is impossible whilst home matches are played at sixfields ?
I know the league has given them 5 years, but at the rate the new stadium is coming along it would be longer than that !!!
