One for me and my lad. I presume ST holders and those who've bought tickets for away games got one. I love SP me.

Says something when the manager can actually write to each fan individually though doesn't it? ;)

Nice touch, I agree.

Steven Pressley's open letter to the skyblue army

Coventry City boss Steven Pressley and assistant Neil MacFarlane write an open letter of thanks to the Sky Blue ArmyTo every Coventry City supporter,

It’s been a year since we arrived at this wonderful football club and we are writing to offer a personal thank you for your fantastic support since we arrived.

We have written, this week, to every Season Ticket holder but wanted to extend the thank you to every other supporter of the football club for their backing and thought this open letter was the best way of achieving that.

It’s been a tough 12 months for all of our supporters which has led to difficult decisions being taken and we have been clear all along, we respect everyone’s view with regards to attending our games at Sixfields or not.

For many supporters it hasn’t been easy to attend a ground away from the club’s home city but those that have, made that choice not for us and not for the owners, but to support the team. Others have opted to attend our away games only and while we respect that decision we would, clearly, love to see them wherever we play.

For the team as a group, this was a season of challenges and unknowns. We have had to contend with the loss of ten points and also playing our home matches outside the city but we feel the team have reacted brilliantly and have been a credit to the supporters and the Coventry City crest.

The backing from every single one of our supporters – home and away – has played a massive part in that.

Of course, our job for the season is not done in this highly competitive league and we continue to work extremely hard in order to pick up as many points as we possibly can between now and the end of the season.

We believe we have gone some way into changing the culture at the club, basing our whole DNA on high intensity and a high work ethic that is replicated throughout training and matches at every level – right from the Academy to the first team.

The next step is to create a winning mentality and a belief among not only the players and staff, but in each of our supporters too, that we can achieve something very positive for this football club.

So thank you once again for your support and we look forward to seeing you for the remainder of this season and beyond.

- Steven Pressley & Neil MacFarlane

I'm a PSL holder both my son (15) and daughter (12) had ST until this season. So all 3 of us have been to most away games this season. We all live in sunny Essex so maybe its the distance but only had 1 letter from rhe club this season in response to my 5 letters asking for my PSL money back or my seat. That letter stated they would get back to me, still waiting. It must be difficult to Elvis and the team wanting to ackknowledge the supporters position but also looking over shoulder at their job position. I was one of the people who didnt want Elvis, but i was so wrong. So to Elvis and team team thank you for some great performance this season, lets have one last push to see us over the line.

No, you're OK. I'll leave that for you. The thread was just to point out what a nice touch Pressley writing to the fans was. Nothing more. Over to you again.

He should write to all the rest of us that don't go to Sixfields, you know the 90% who have a backbone and the moral fiber to say NO to SISU.

I await you verbal abuse......

Dear Mr PSL Holder,

We are sorry about your PSL, but it was all Fletchers fault, we are not to blame.

Who is scaring who?
Nick more scaremongering and made up stuff first I've heard of this... Come on spill the beans?
Oh and Wheres what?
Where's that? People should be worrying more about the fans trying to scare other fans legally for not agreeing with them.

Why would I say it if it was made up? Just fans PM'ing me telling me their solicitors have been reading here, no threat as such but a bit of "scaremongering" I guess.

So people are abusing each other and then getting there solicitors to read a load of shit on a fans forum pretty sad really and a complete waste of money.
