Im a big fan of all things SISU out and all that. But the problem with SISU out is who is there that would come in?
and could it put our club into more chaos if SISU did get out??

Okay you have convinced me, let's stay in Northampton keep loosing money, follow a ridiculous build a new stadium plan, refuse to negotiate on a perfectly good stadium that was built for us in the first place...resort to selling players at the first opportunity, lurch from one embargo to another, don't publish accounts because the way we run the club is a mess...

Because I am sure all other options could possibly be worse?

You're right, we should not hold them accountable for their actions, and should simply sit in silence hoping that they don't hurt us some more.

Don't worry the protest won't make it into Sixfields as Mr Fisher might have heard that someone suffered a paper cut at the game last night and will ban all sheets of paper. Only for safety reasons, so don't be starting any of those conspiracy theories.

There are a number of people who presume or hope that should SISU actually gain unfettered ownership of the Ricoh Arena that they will recover their investment by selling up and disappearing to the Cayman Islands with their booty. There is another faction that seem to believe that SISU will stay long enough to use their money to take the club back to the Premiership and then sell at a greater profit.
I don't believe that any of these scenarios are likely.
Whether SISU get the Ricoh on the cheap, or actually build a new stadium such will be the indebtness of CCFC I do not believe that there will be any bids for club to a level that will enable SISU to make the "return on their investment" that they want.
Perhaps more likely is that SISU will secure the Ricoh, or build a new ground and then task the club with paying management fees, interest payments and rent at a high level in order to extract their return over a longer period.
It will not end well for CCFC.

I fear that you are correct.

This was my feelings before the clear lack of investment in team in the relegation season and before they instigated the rent boycott, and perfectly valid argument....but following these two events I saw the light. Quite frankly, you couldn't do much more of a worse job than sisu and their management team have.

Yes, I don't want them involved in any way.. anyone who thinks things will somehow end up peachy under SISU needs their head examined.

There will never be a problem with SISU out. The sooner they are gone, the sooner we can reclaim our club. Sisus' whole tenure has been chaos, Points deductions, Failure to submit accounts, cheating a charity more than once, shitting on the people of Coventry, not paying bills, moving to the cow shed, failure to understand how to keep your best players or how to optimise the returns selling them might bring, Some dickhead directors that wanted to sit on the bench or get the mascot to loose weight.... O and getting us relegated and playing in front of the lowest crowds in our history....................................chaos if they leave, never, just pure and unadulterated Joy!! (and I don't mean the evil one)

You've all listed all the reasons why Sisu are shit (again) but nobody's actually answered the question. Who would want to buy us?

There would be a number of groups prepared to invest in a CCFC that was being sold under legitimate terms and conditions. I think the issue will be is that the scum will try and load a shit load of debt onto the club and expect a new owner to take it on.

Who? And how do you know they would be prepared to invest?

I do have to say I am all for Sisu out if there is someone out there that will come in, but number one priority for all of us surely is for Sisu to sort everything out and bring us home.

There seemed to be no shortage of bidders last time the 'club' was for sale.

IIRC plan B is buy the Ricoh. And there is hardly any chance of this happening any time soon as they haven't started on plan A yet.

They Don't know what there doing how can they sort it out.

Sorry but they have lost all credibility.
They have had up to 5 plans so far how many more do they need to get it right?

I don't want Sisu out, I want them to sort everything out!

When was this? Recently when you could bid for the debts and contracts that were not wanted?

That should be Plan A.

If you don't think that anyone else is interested in owning your club, then maybe it is time for you to find another one.

If we assumed a base attendance of 10,000 at an average of £10 (which was about what the average was at Ricoh) then that's around £2m of income, that's after deducting an estimated Ricoh rent and match day charges of £300,000.

Add to that any sponsorship, tv money, cup games. If any other company thought they could keep costs below that total then they may well be interested in being Plan B.

Obviously this all assumes that they don't need to buy the club from SISU at a ridiculous price, and that they don't bother spending millions on buying the freehold.

SISU will be around until at least the JR outcome, and after any appeals, so we don't need to worry about Plan B just yet.

Cov United at the Ricoh

Coventry City (or actually SISU City) are on the way to a long drawn out death.

Let Cov United play at Ricoh and speed up the demise of SISU.
If that American bloke or anyone with a few quid, they should invest in Cov at the Ricoh.

Once we get a couple of promotions, fans will desert SISU City and come over to United.

Not pretty, but it's a way out of the mess
