Clarke & Presley, have they had fall out? (1 Viewer)

After Leon's comments regarding the poor tactics, was it at home against p'boro. Have they had a fall out? He has demonstrated in the past how difficult he can be. Is it that he has been tapped up or is it that a fall out was the catalyst?

What did he say about the Peterborough game?

It was a little odd that he chose to speak out in such a way. Perhaps Pressley encouraged it without knowing what their relationship is like who can tell.

he ddint say anythign bad,he said we played with a different focus on pressure than normal and he didnt feel like it worked, once they went back to normal pressuring he felt side played much better

thats an observation not a rant.

If Clarke has been tapped up (which he almost certainly has) his ill advised comments would have been deliberate to force the move.

I think SP is holding this whole shambles of a club together on his own. (Off pitch)

He is a total revalation. Trust him over LC anyday.

can someone explain this "tapped up"? I thought it was against footballing rules whatever it is?

Regardless of whether or not Clarke and SP fell out doesn't hide the fact Clarke has had more clubs than most footballers around. There is your answer.

Even though we won 4-2 and he scored a couple?

It was nothing really, he just said the original game plan in his opinion didn't work very well.

I wrote the other day about agents and I bet his has been on his case ?remember these parasites known as agents are like lawyers, they like money and lots of it that's why they do these jobs.If Clarke's agent can get his client a move to a higher club the bigger cut he'll get.Or if it's not that Clarke has got itchy feet again and wants to go elsewhere,so even though we want him to stay, best let him go and get a player in who may show more loyalty.

Agents are parasites. Leon Clarke is playing the best football of his carear , so the parasite saw the pound signs and sowed the seed in Clarkes head no doubt, shame to see him go, but i'd offload , get the best price we can. One day Leon Clarke might regret this , money isn't everything.

Leon Clarke regretting his decision to leave City:

Presley's response after the Crawley game after being asked when Clarke would be fit again: 'I don't know, you'll have to ask Leon' suggests there was some kind of fallout. Did Clarke refuse to play? Judging by Presley's response I'd say it was possible. Wonder if Clarke will play against PNE.
