Cool. I can watch it then. I'm working on the Sunday, so glad it wasn't on then. BT Sport or ITV?

We took 8k in midweek last year with work the next day. At least people can stay down there and make a night of it.

Edit: that said TV will take a few off the gate.

Makes no odds to me, I live in North London these days.

I don't really agree with people saying we'll be lucky to get 4k. no chance! We took around 7k last year on a Tuesday, i'd say more people would prefer Friday than Tuesday!

It's on BT Sport not ITV so unless you're one of the handful of BT Sport subscribers it's the Emirates or the pub to see the game.

The announcement means that City’s scheduled home match against Carlisle on Thursday, February 23, will be postponed and they will have an extra day to prepare for their trip to promotion-chasing Leyton Orient on Tuesday, February 28.

Think they mean a day less don't they? If we were playing on the Thursday and now we're playing on the Friday how is it a day more to prepare for a game the following week or am I missing something obvious?

Really don't know what to do. Half of me wants to go but then I really don't want to give SISU any money :(

should be a 7:45 kick off if that makes a difference to anyone. on the plus side there should be people at the FA / FL if a protest is held in the day but will be hard to get the sort of numbers to a protest we could have got on a weekend.

Horrible night to go down to London. Remember too well the four hours it took to get to Wimbledon and, by all accounts, we were quicker than most!! Groaned when I heard the draw but at least thought we'd see the Emirates by daylight this time. Aaargh!!!

But without things being changed we would have still had to play the FA Cup fixture on the Saturday if it hadn't been chosen.

I think the original plan was Thur-Sat/Sun-Tue but could be wrong.

Edit: beaten like Jordan Clarke in a spelling bee

I suspect it will be one of the following fixtures:

Arsenal v Coventry
Stevenage v Everton
Southampton v Yeovil

Blackburn or Manchester City v Bristol City or Watford
Bournemouth or Burton v Liverpool

I'd say we are in with a chance, maybe a little better as people knowing the way we will play will expect an open, attacking game of Football from both sides.

I got two out of the three.. Not bad I guess.

You're missing something.

The point they are making is that we were originally scheduled to play Carlisle on Thursday 23rd, the FA cup on Saturday 25th and Leyton Orient on Tues 28th. So with the cup game on Friday 24th we have an extra days preparation for the league match on the Tuesday

Gutted on a Friday, not surprised the FA Cup is losing it's appeal, getting to Arsenal on a Friday afternoon will be a nightmare !!

For those that don't want to drive, London > Coventry train ticket is still £7.50 for 2230 and last train at 23:30. Takes 1hr 40mins... I expect it will fill up pretty quickly.

Trains into London vary with price but you can get a London Midland train for a very reasonable amount...I will be working in London in the day so I am not bothered about getting into London as much...

Another example of television ruling football and not giving a monkeys about the fans, wish it was 1974 and going to my first game. When all that matters is 2pts on a SATUR bloody DAY
