Not sure about Fratton Park, been zero atmosphere every time I've been there.

All decent atmospheres on their day against the big clubs or rivals, but mainly they aren't that special in my view.

Auto reply from emailing Sandra Garlick with a couple of questions:
Thank you for your email.

I am currently out of the office on annual leave.

I will have only intermittent access to my emails until my return at 12 noon on 8th January.

The De Marco team will be exhibiting at the B2B Expo at The Belgrade, Coventry on Tuesday 14th January. Please visit our stand and say hello.

The office is closed from 5.00pm on Tuesday 24th December until 9.00am on Thursday 2nd January. If you need assistance whilst I am away, please call 024 7621 4440 and speak to my colleague, Penny Sankey.

Kind regards

Sandra

So if anyone fancies asking questions and isn't a season ticket holder, I guess you can always head to the Belgrade...

And when non ST holders get their chance I hope they don't just think of themselves at the meeting but ST holders too... Hold on, regardless of whether we're ST or not, we're all fans, are we not? Not just trying to be divisive, are you? ;)

I just hope that the current season ticket holders don't just think of themselves at this meeting. And see it as an opportunity to discuss the criteria required for the return of all the ccfc fans.
Remember if the 90% of fan base can't be encouraged back then Ccfc has no future.

I might have a nose down there,im at the other end of broad lane so not to far from the village.

Yes me too, I will never go to Sixfields and I don't believe that SISU have the funds or the desire to build a Stadium. So I will take a wander down. A few hundred Outside would be a better signal than a Traitor's meeting to discuss a fictional stadium.

Garlick is only acting on behalf of the deeply untrusted and hated SISU, because it plays to an over inflated ego. She has clearly missed the whole point.

She is prepared to chair a meeting that is designed to split the fan base and alienate the majority even further.

Exactly, most grounds you go to it's the away fans creating the atmosphere. The Ricoh wasn't especially bad or good (or though I have been told something was done when it was designed relating to the roof to ensure any noise stayed within the bowl), everytime there's been a big crowd there we've lost so it's not surprising the atmosphere hasn't been amazing. Shut off the corners and back rows moving everyone closer together would help. If / when we move back this is something that could be looked into.

Traitor's meeting? Here we go again.

Is calling people "traitor's" not splitting and alienating the fan base?

One thing the Ricoh does have more so than most new builds is the steepness of the stands which I think helps. Being at the back doesn't necessarily mean being far away from the pitch, would have been nice however if the actual stands were closer to the pitch. Would be nice if we ever do return to the Ricoh to be able to decorate the concourses underneath the stands with sky blue colours, murals of famous players etc to give it a bit of a more homely feel with a bit of a sense of pride in our home.

Hang on, would this not be an ideal opportunity to protest and nobody turn up????? It may not change anything but would give yet again an indication of the fans feelings. I dont get why we all as fans just cant boycott something. The ones that are making a stand get hammered on here yet when the idea of a boycott of Sixfields gets branded about, its a non starter.
FFS quite simply I want the club back in Coventry at the Ricoh. Stop pandering to Fishers and Joy's needs. So I wait for the reasons on why this protest idea wont work????? I will start, my legs just start walking, I cant stop them so will have to turn up.

The point i was making is that season ticket holders maybe happy to except a stadium outside Coventry.
But that's not going to bring the majority of fans back is it ?

If we come back I'd like to see the Trust get involved in something like that. You could also get a building wrap (easy to take down if it's not wanted for other events) and maybe copy the Emirates and have things on the streetlight poles approaching the ground.

Why would ST holders be happy? Because they go to Sixfields and so must be happy with whatever SISU do? Silly.

I don't think anyone wants a stadium outside the City, do they?

What about just a general protest outside the Village at that time....

You have to wonder what will actually be discussed at these ( 1 every 2 months) forums?
How many urinals per 1000 seats do fans want, would they like Fisher toilet paper in the Gents, and Joy toilet paper in the ladies? What range of pies would fans prefer, what beers would fans want on tap? What other meaningless trivia can we waffle on for months on end, in a vain attempt to convince someone, somewhere that our make believe stadium is for real.

I did say maybe.....
Yes i agree except for RFC i would like to think current season ticket holders first choice would be a stadium in Coventry.
But anyone prepared to travel to Sixfields for the next 3-5 years would probably except any location which pretty much nails it !!!!

Ps don't forget your paint colour charts and your Laura Ashley material samples for the meeting

That's pretty much what I think it will be. We've already got an artists impression which we had zero input on, can't imagine we'll get any input on the actual plans or details so it will be little things that make real differece and could be done at the Ricoh anyway if we moved back there.

Well, go to the second meeting that's open to all and tell us. Or would you rather just moan about it?

We want our stadium IN Coventry, not in the Coventry area. Anything shirt if that is another SISU failing.

Secondly, it's despicable that this forum is only open to the SISU apologists that have compromised their principles for 90 minutes of football every other Sunday.

How the hell are you going to get the broad opinion from City fans if you only invite the 'yes' men?

Well here is the opinion of a long standing Coventry fan who won't be getting a season ticket, won't be joining you at sixfields or any other 'home' ground OUTSIDE Coventry.

You can shove your new stadium.

Well Sandra dear you don't represent me or 20,000 other fans and I don't think you are a city fan but just another sisu plant sent out to butter us up, you are an insult to thousands of genuine fans go and get a proper job and do something worthwhile for the community

Yeah, I can't see that as a problem as long as everyone has a say. As a ST holder I won't be attending. Like others, I can't see the point.

Can I have your place?

Why bother John, this individual spent all summer sucking up and licking the arse of the hated hedge fund to then decrying the move and saying he wouldn't go to Northampton to now referring himself as 'Us Sixfielders' and now 'Us Season ticket holders' like he's particularly proud of it.....the worst of the worst !!

Not sure. They said the second will be open to all.

Admittedly only had a quick look but it appears that there are no details for the second meeting. Been told of someone who has sent several emails to the club and Ms Garlick asking for the details but has had no response. Maybe if they'd have had 2 meetings in the same week people wouldn't have been bothered but at the moment it seems we have one for those who go to Sixfields and a vague promise of another one at some point in the future for everyone else.

I am proud to be a season ticket holder as I have been for over a quarter of a century. And no jumped up little racist like you will make me feel otherwise so go and fuck yourself.

I think there was another thread a few days ago wasn't there? Can't remember now. I remember there were arguments over it though!

If you want it.

If we're being serious (I can never tell on here) I'd be happy to go. Mostly to report back here and cos I'm a big project geek and enjoy this shit. Promise I won't get you barred for throwing my shoe at Fisher ;)

I assume its a matter of you emailing back and giving me a name, they're not going to ID are they?

I got the email for the non-Superfans over Christmas, but AFAIK no date other than "late Jan" has been set.
