What a drama queen!!!

"Coventry as usual played to their strengths which is going forward and passing the ball about, but alas this is undermined by their irritating habit of conceding goals against the run of play by gifting the opposition the ball through error and sloppy defending."

If there was anyone at the game on Saturday or who had seen the highlights they'd of known that the equaliser was a very good volley from the edge of the area, the freekick was defended really well and it's just a shame that the volley nestled into the bottom corner, Swindon's goal scorer could have tried that ten more times and probably would have scored only twice.

The second goal is clever play from the Striker he used his pace to get in behind, he has then come across Seaborne so he leaves Seaborne with the option of taking him down (Red card ultimately as he was last man) or trying to get back at him on the run which Dan failed to do, the only thing you can criticise is that 3 of the 4 man backline expected the offside flag which never came (Blair, Jordan, Cyrus).

Up until that moment City's defence had rarely been threatened the whole game and the defence when called upon looked strong and commanding, there was definitely an improvement since the game at Crewe.

It's frustrating that things get blown way out of proportion as this article now points out we should be looking over shoulder.

Has our defensive improvement come at the cost of blunting the front line though? Or are we just seeing the effect of injuries and fitness up front?

Our attacking line has been broken up recently with first Leon being injured and now Callum having a little niggle, however I think when both are paired back up top together the goals will come back again.

I hope so. Because I think at this level you get more from attacking than defending and I think the defence has been poor all season but the recent downturn has been down to us not taking our chances like we used to.

I'd agree with that, Leon had two great chances in the 1st half Saturday one header which was narrowly wide, we hit the post, the crossbar and Foderingham made a few good saves in the process, I think we had Callums pace we would have won, I can say hand on heart why we lost and it has nothing to do with our defence, Leon's celebration... The moment we scored and he celebrated there fans got behind the team and they started looking a threat, I don't blame Leon for giving them stick, but that moment was the turning point for that game.

He is right, how many very good goals have been scored against us, a lot have come from a sloppyness in our play. He is also right to state we need to look over our shoulder, we do need to. We could easily get dragged back in to a dogfight.

Up until the Swindon game I would have agreed, but the goals we conceded had nothing to do with sloppy defending. We will not relegated that I would swear too.

For Swindons winning goal, Seabourne was poor and should have done better

From what I remember Storey went across Seaborne at that point as I said before there are two things you can do and Dan made a choice. We should have never been a position to have let them back in the game.

If it had been Jorden Clarke... my oh my imagine the witch hunt... posts calling for his head no doubt.

Seabourne should have done better... but hes a 3rd division footballer.. hes going to make mistakes?
