I have my own opinion and my own opinion is that we should all boycott Sixfields games. It is just my opinion though and everyone must make up their own minds.

We cannot demand people don't go, we can't intimidate people into not going. We can discuss the issue sensibly and with strong reasoning, but for me, I think I have already done that ad nauseum and now do not argue the toss with anyone anymore.

If people want to go then it is entirely up to them. They are not scabs or scum, just people who cannot bear to be without their football club.

I personally think this whole thing would be resolved very quickly if no-one attended the next 3 games for instance, but as I say, this has been debated ad nausem and now I think we are past trying to talk people out of going.

Maybe in time they will alter their decision, see things are not moving forwards and will stop attending, but it is entirely their choice and I don't think we should bring any pressure upon fellow fans into making choices.

Without doubt their is no way that the 1200 attending sixfields are keeping the club going. I don't go that's my choice, the attendees will only be covering at most 5 players wages, the rest is going to be coming from ARVO master fund in loans against the club. The thing that makes me laugh is even if we were to get back to the Ricoh in the grand SISU plan as owners then we will be saddled with the debt from the purchase and the time spent at Sixfields. Don't think they would liquidate the club.they have said they want a return on their money.I believe there is a deal to be done on the Ricoh but they want it on the cheap.so what do they do threaten acl/council with a stadium that will never be built.for them to go ahead with it in5 yes would be a total investment of around 80 million including previous alleged losses .how long do you think share holders will wait for return.

Much better we plod along with Byng and £100m of debt than Sisu and £60m. Just like what we've got is better than plodding along with McGinnity, which was better than overspending with Richardson...

For what its worth, I have been but have not been for the last 4 games and wont go again. I always said I would give em a season to sort this mess out but it is clear that this isn't going to happen so I am cutting my losses. To my mind the handful of supporters still going are not prolonging the situation, enough supporters have stayed away to give SISU some heavy losses and for NOPM to have the desired effect - virtually zero income stream. This will work of course as no business is sustainable without an income and SISU cannot continue to subsidise this in the long run.

What is evident if they only get a handful of fans at games outside the city now then this is likely to continue when they build the new stadium as of course this will also be outside the City. So are they prepared to shell out £20m on a ground where very few are likely to attend? of course not, SISU know this and this is why the ground will never be built - they will never throw good money after bad.

The ONLY solution is for them to return to the Ricoh, everyone knows this including ACL/CCC so as Grendel alluded to on another thread, the best thing we can do is say "go ahead and build" call their bluff, this may speed things to a head. Eventually SISU will realise this if they don’t already and they will have to come back on a tenancy agreement at reduced rates. And to be clear, reduced rates is what it SHOULD be and not the ridiculous rent they were paying before. If they did this and negotiated a rent that was acceptable (to my mind this has already been offered) then the club could then start to get on an even keel again. SISU just need to stop the brinkmanship as its fooling no one, accept the odd few like RFC of course.

How will people get proof that not going will bring the club home? And even if proof was forthcoming, people will still go as they care about their Saturday fix, not the longterm future of the club.

Firstly bids were sealed and I think Otium won with a bid of £1.5m - its not a huge leap to suggest had the others known what they were bidding on, they may have offered more than this figure, in reality only SISU knew what they were bidding on.

Secondly, as we have seen with CCC rejecting, the "prefered bidder" is still in control of the golden share so not sure it would have changed anything.

But the fact that Players were not in Ltd meant no one else would bid. I'm sure if someone bid say £20M Sisu/Arvo may have thought about it and maybe cut their losses rather than bid higher.

But yeah, Sisu had the admin process all sewn up, if they didn't they never would've allowed it to get that far.

Because as everyone keeps pointing out, they want a return on their investment. And they won't get that by just charging the club a high rent. The DNA of SISU has been to buy, invest, and sell on. They won't be able to sell the club that doesn't own a ground to recoup the kind of losses they have incurred.
