This issue has never been about the rent, or a few "Steak and Kidneys" It was, and is, simply a smoke screen. A blind man on a galloping horse could see that.

I'm sure we would have heard by now if ACL or the council had threatend to sue supporters. It would hardly help get our club back in the city or their attempts to get us back to the Ricoh.

For the record Sisu never threatened to the fans; that would be impossible. They threatened to sue the Guardian (rather ridiculously admittedly) but the fact remains.

bullshit all you like grendull but only 1 company put us into administration and it wasn't ACL, CCC or Higgs. the 10point deduction was a direct consequence of being put into admin so who ever did that takes the blame solely.

that we will never know as it didn't happen. the only thing we do know is that ACL threatened admin. sh1tsu just went ahead and did it and cost us 10points to boot.

Yes, ACL had backers who didn't go missing in action who stepped in when the business needed them.
I though CCFC also had backers that were "in it for the long haul". Pity they weren't about when the bills needed paying.

Yes odd that - Don apparantly on another thread says taxpayers would be outraged at the sale of the Ricoh cheaply yet seems to think that they would be happy for far more taxpayers money to be used solely to bail out a crap management company that couldn't make ends meet. No I never said that, you're reading something that isn't there again. RFC said that ACL had cost us 20 points and that is factually incorrect they didn't they cost us 10. Sisu were the ones who put us into administration rather than pay their contractually agreed rent, or even negotiate before starting the rent boycott. Had they done so and or Tim hadn't mentioned liquidation ACL wouldn't have had cause to start court proceedings.

Your beloved Timothy was going on about liquidating our club before ACL applied for admin. So SUESUE jumped in first and applied for admin. That way they got to choose Appleton. The finder of all truth. The one who couldn't even find the golden share because maybe it was put in the wrong place :thinking about:
I suppose you would have been happier if ACL hadn't tried to do what was best for our fans by trying to keep us in Coventry and let SUESUE liquidate.

Beyond belief how anyone could defend Sisu in this fiasco.
The role of the administrator - well what can anyone say? How Sisu get to appoint their own administrator, that proved to be a marriage made in football hell. Raised eyebrows is the least of it.
It is an absolute disaster. And after a brief glimpse of hope with Ann Lucas inviting Ms Seppalla for talks, it looks ominous.
And lets be straight here, the only reason we've been docked 20 points is because of Sisu.
If they didn't see it before, 99% of City fans now see their game.

Oh I am not confused at all. Loans are a risk -- you and your ACL worshipping friends may be perfectly happy in times of job losses, council service cutbacks etc. for the council to be bailing out a struggling private company that seemed wholly dependant on one customer -- many taxpayers I think would rather than debt settled and also a fee paid for a building that can then be directed to preventing further austerity measures.

Not just Tim Fisher, Mark Labovitch and even Joy Seppala have all said we're building a new ground. Okay so Mr Labovitch has actually mentioned a conservatory as well but that may have been a euphemism. Now if it was just one of the three then yes it's possible one of them had gone off message but all three (and two are directors) of them - unlikely. Remember they only do business in good faith - always.
