About 10 years ago I lost a very special (mint condition) oval dinner plate with Coventry City Crest and 'Grandstand Restaurant' in the center, I blamed everyone for smashing it and not owning up. So I am starting to renovate my kitchen and guess what...wedged under the floor units, behind the sink?????? sat the little beauty, still mint, I feel like ordering a curry.

I've got one of them! My mate nicked it when he was on a catering YTS at Highfield Rd.
Well then, you can be in my (CCFC, Grandstand Restaurant, Oval Plate, Gang) ;)

A curry might stain it...
Fear not Nick, she has seen many a vindaloo in the past (the dark red one's) with no battle scars. To me (as silly as it seems) It was just a very small CCFC related respite in what is a very hard time for me, and us all.

Went for my seventh birthday to the Grandstand restaurant for lunch before the match. Had a lemonade at half time in the bar across the stairs from the restaurant. Would never have thought to nick a plate at that age.

Mine ain't oval it's circular. How did you post the picture? Bit of a Luddite where PC's are concerned!
Yes indeed, I think you will find you have a starter plate and mine is the 'big boy' main course, rather swish number ;)

My Grandad gave me the plate years ago, that is one of the reasons why I was so happy to find it, are you telling me he could have stole it!!!!!! ;)

They could have sold them in the club shop back then, so no need to panic.

I am humbled by your superior collection, maybe Wednesdays, in a pub or something?
