Be interesting to see Joy Seppalas reaction to that...

That third party would then have to find someone to play at the Ricoh. SISU would want too much money to cover their investment.
Best solution is to sell to SISU and then let them sell the club and the Ricoh as one.

Wish they would sell to a third party, would be start of the end for this SISU crap.

Either get these owners to make a bid for Cov if they say no then AFC Coventry.

I have had enough, have lost a lot of interest in all this.

Hobo understand your point but if I were looking at it from the councils perspective a sale to a third party would solve a number of issues.

Firstly if the value of the sale covered the councils loan then it demonstrates to some extend that the council made the loan on commercial grounds. That scuppers Sisus case. Secondly a sale to a third party intent on carrying on with or without CCFC as tenants forces Sisu into either selling the club to the new owners or into building a new stadium.

In many ways this could be the councils best option. A Preston Hackett type could not only afford the Ricoh he could develop all the land that comes with it. In essence as the Ricoh makes a profit without CCFC then he could either sit Sisu out or start another club.

Every day that passes must make this the most likely option now for the council

SISU would argue that is why ACL and CCC forced them out of town and made them run at huge losses.

It's like in their statement yesterday, they suggest ACL run the Ricoh poorly and AEG would make it a world class venue rather than a backwater one.

I'm sure you can remember SISU selling that vision to the fans when they were desperately trying to buy the venue before they were forced to stops paying the rent???

I thought it was interesting when Ann Lucas said she was willing to listen to anyone "with a clear plan to develop the Ricoh". Suggesting perhaps SISU had never put forward a clear plan eroding CCC and ACL confidence in what SISU would do if they bought the Ricoh, and where that would leave CCFC?

Pretty much an open invitation to PH4 to make a serious offer.

Sisu had a "clear plan" for CCFC, look how that turned out.

Their record in the entertainment industry is pretty poor.

Oh I don't know I found Tim quite entertaining especially his best joke about getting 3,000 fans at Sixifelds after three matches - the mans comedy timing was almost perfect. Not so sure they should have replaced him with Mr Labovitch he's not quite as funny. I mean the conservatory joke yesterday

Mark Labovitch on Shane Rimmer show on CWR said:
I mean you try and build a conservatory and you can’t get the precise date can you so er it’s a mugs game
just isn't funny you're supposed to be building us somewhere to play and we can't play in a conservatory.

Is this Sepalla's worry ? Alright saying she would liquidate but how would that be explained to her foreign and American investors, especially after rejecting some pretty good offers re. rent-free etc. If SISU are trying to get the Ricoh "on the cheap" as a lot keep saying a would be third party who have done the homework might just offer a bit more for the whole complex, our football team is almost a sideshow.

yes his lofty view from mayfair of cov is a backwater place, full of retard fans and a cheap commodity called the ricoh that they want for a fiver and a bag of midget gems, his arrogance and lack of knowledge of our great city and club is outrageously obvious...

i suggest he gets media training before he entertains us again...
