Just found this post on the MK dons forum (Theconcreteroundabout) :

'2006 was the last time Coventry finished higher than 17th in the Championship. They got relegated in 2012 after achieving just 40 points and finishing second bottom. Not only did they get relegated but they entered administration, started on -10 points and finished 15th meaning another season in the third tier of English football. This season they've had to share a ground with Northampton Town which has limited several fans from attending "home" games. With all the shit their club has been through in the last half a decade, they still have the passion to take 7,000 fans to an away game and absolutely embarrass us. Of course there were a few dicks who ran on the pitch and trashed the bar but overall they embarrassed us with noise levels and numbers.

Now lets look at MK Dons. Regardless of what you think of him, we currently have one of the longest serving managers in England who has shown a lot of loyalty to this club. An academy which has produced several internationally capped youngsters with some who are still at the club and some who have moved on to bigger clubs. A chairman who has a long vision and plan for the club and has brought us one of the finest stadiums in the country. In the last half a decade we've won at Wembley, achieved a record breaking promotion, been in the play offs a few times, and gained a large reputation for the football we're sometimes capable of playing. This season hasn't been great and I've complained at times, especially after the Coventry game. However when you compare the fact that there's some fans who stick by their team no matter what and then you read on here that some people can't be bothered anymore and might give up on the club, lets just say I completely understand when other clubs say we're not real fans'

This is a post directed at this own fans and not for us obviously but I have been on their site to see if they said anything about our support and there has been plenty. The above comments shows us exactly what we are about as the Sky blue army and that makes me proud.

We didn't start last season on -10 points though.

Liked this bit though:

That's the Phoenix Club and AFC Coventry people sorted out.

For that Lord bloke, who can't read. See the bold type.

Christmas/Jan at latest to begin organising a phoenix club.
As some sensible poster said earlier - it is a contingency plan.
None of us wants our club to cease to exist. But Sisu seem hell bent on taking us out of Coventry - permanently. Elmdon, Gaydon, Meriden, Rugby, not good enough Sisu. Got to be in Coventry.
Just the thought of a newly formed team through us fans, bearing the Coventry name. 1883 seems to be popular - will put a spanner in Sisu's works.
Sure we won't be playing Man United anytime soon, but neither are we now. FFP will kick in, it will, and the budget will drop dramatically.
If the situation is partially resolved and we finally come back to the Ricoh, the fans team can be brought back under the umbrella.
As the saying goes, we can't lose either way.
Many fans are worn down by this never ending nonsense. Do you want future seasons of it?
