Just a thought, why has Coventry City attract Scottish players and Managers in the past and present?
With those national teams the criteria tends to be
a) who's from here?
b) who haven't we asked yet?
& why is Strachan still held in high esteem within the club?
Didn't SP mention him being his all time hero?
This guy got the club relegated & with his mate Ron, started the club's financial woes!
How he is the national team coach is still beyond me?
How Coleman is welsh coach is also a mystery!
If that is indeed true then the question has to be asked as to why he did not go on to manage at a higher level?Pressley needs to do some research on the best Scottish Manager in our history - Don Mackay - tactical genius.

I look back fondly to Stachan the player. He was bloody brilliant. Maybe that's what Pressley means?
I agree, shit manager though.
I don't know if you ever had the pleasure of watching Tommy Hutchinson torment defenders from our left wing. Deserved a rake of Scotland caps but played at unfashionable CCFC!
Nobody talked more incomprehensible bollocks in post match interviews than Strachan. Oh maybe the winging Daglish in defeat at Liverpool.
Daglish as a player awesome made Strachan look League 1.

Don't forget Michael O'Neil for NI as well !

Too young for Hutch but heard many a tale from my old man about his genius.
Strachan was a different sort of player, but was incredible for Leeds when winning the Player of the Year for their title winning side. His "coming out of retirement to keep us up-and still our best player" stints for us are absolutely legendary and a much more pleasant memory than his managerial spell!
I think Jim Brogan also owned a string of garages in Glasgow selling top of the range prestige carsWe have had loads of Scottish connections, so have every other football team.
Some great some dire...anyone remember Jim Brogan. Might have been great at Celtic came here on a pension plan. Believe he negotiated about who sold burgers outside the ground!
Fair play to the man if true....but didn't do much on the pitch.
