Why? I just attacked one for his expenses. The opposite is true. I'm as red as they come.

What I don't get is why zahawi got off so lightly in the local media. The claim in times of fuel poverty showed him to be morally bankrupt. It was truly astonishing and shows he is unfit for office.

If we started firing MPs who show they're unfit for office we'd have an empty commons.

Agree. Particuarly when the cost of energy is soaring. They get away with it. They always have and they always will. I don't have time for any MP red or blue.

True. It's the one rule for one thing though isn't it? If I fiddled the expenses at work then I would be fired. No second chances, it would be gross misconduct. They say "sorry, I make a mistake" or "it was in the spirit of the rules" and they get away with it. I wonder what they actually spend their money on as they claim for all the stuff that me and you have to buy out of our incomes. Zawahi also gets £3K a month for seven hours work with a recruitment business.

Yes that what makes me laugh. Expense fiddling in our organisation really means its curtains.

Zahawi Ainsworth etc. just pay it back.

It's not even a question of legality but morality though. For some reason the company I work for allows expense claims for meals abroad at a virtual unlimited amount. Once, tired and jet lagged I paid over £150 for a meal and two drinks - I got the currency exchange all wrong and thought it was £15. No one cared but I felt dreadful. Politicians seemingly just don't give a stuff.

Obviously the spot light has gone now she is not being the saviour of our club, so she had to say something to get back out there!

I remember talking to Geoffrey Robinson years ago. He said "people that crittersise me will soon realise what a squeaky clean chap I am". A year or so later the expenses list got published. He was the only MP that didn't claim a penny for a second home, travel or anything else.

What a fine upstanding chap.

I don't know how anybody couldn't have guessed she used to be a bloke.

Unimportant anyway, I'm more concerned in how our West Midlands MEP was apparently championing us at every opportunity - but hasn't uttered a dicky bird for ages. With Lucas and Joy having now met, and a proper meeting is supposed to be on the cards - shouldn't Nikki be pushing her offer to mediate now, to ensure the fans best interests are kept in mind?

Or was she using us for publicity? If so, thats hard to swallow.

Whatever sex the person has been at any given time, or whatever sexual persuasion any person may have had at any given time, is irrelevant.

Made me chuckle, Nicholas Sinclaire would have been very hard to swallow, she was the biggest bloke on the march.
