A true reflection of our following and how many fans we may have possibly lost or not lost can be gauged at MK away - We took 5,000 last year anything less will indicate that if this nonsense continues then the damage maybe irreparable

And if there's more, what will that indicate?

Still over 3 weeks and a pay day before the match. This will be bedlam again, City fans want to go out and show a bit of solidarity under the circumstances, I predict we'll get them to open their top tier.
PUSB !!

Think quite a few were saying that they ordered directly from MK Dons site/ticket office, will probably do the same!

Their ground holds approx 32K, there will be about 5 - 6k MK Dons fans. Don't think you will have a problem getting in.........

Our ground holds 30,700. Not sure where you got "5-6K MK Dons fans" as we average about 8,000 and there will probably be about 10K MK fans in for this one.

Hello bucks- wasn't having a dig at your support.....I based the 5-6 k figure on last years attendance, which, from memory was about 11k in total, of which we accounted for over five thousand. The official away attendance was about five people short of five thousand Cov fans, but I know of many who were in the home areas of the ground...

Is 8,000 your average home fans attendance, or the average gate, including away fans?

In essence, the point was that there will be plenty of empty seats around the ground, so our fans need not panic...if they really want to see the match, they can go and be sensibly behaved amongst the mkdons fans.

Thanks for clarifying that the stadium holds 30700, and not 'about 32K' ...just based on the typical size of modern stadia.

Bought mine last year direct from MK, unfortunately I now receive a email virtualy every day trying to entice me back.
On a slightly different note I have also ended up on Man Citeh's mailing list (dont know how) and keep receiving rubbish from them !

Last seasons attendance was 13,620, we had 8,000, you had 5,000.

Average home gates last season were 8,600 which worked out as an average of 7,800 home fans and 800 away.

I understood the point you were making, I just like to keep things as factual as possible!

Hi Bucks
Is the top tier going to be open.
I understand you need to hold two test games for some reason.
Is this one of them.

I doubt it very much. If you sell out the 6,500 available in the away end then it may open but I doubt you will bring 6,500 and even if you did, I doubt there would be anymore needed.

I doubt there would be many more fans wanting tickets over 6,500...not enough to open the top tier.

Sometime you can tell when a surge of interest in a game starts to build & I think this is one of those games.

If we are within striking distance of the playoffs, this game could take off for Coventry fans, so don't underestimate the pulling power of the mighty Sky Blues.

Ive just brought tickets from the MK site and in the away end the only blocks that are colour coded are the central 4/5 blocks in both tiers. Maybe the top tier is open now?

Interesting game. Owners that stole a football club v owners that have tried stealing a football ground and have fucked up a football club. Franchise v nearly a franchise.

Just bought 3 via the same route. I know they've sent City another 900 today, but these ones direct from MK are surely in addition to that?
