If we did get back to the Ricoh (5 Viewers)

If by some chance all parties got together and stopped all the childish playground stuff and announced the boys would return to the Ricoh by January. What does everyone reckon the attendance would be for the first match back? Dispite everything I reckon it would top 20,000. Obviously all depends on performances between now and then. If we were just outside the playoffs I believe we could push for 25,000. And if the club did a £10 welcome back promotion there's a little bit of me that actually thinks it might be a sell out...

And if Joy carries on being so pig headed we will not be back whilst they are busy ruining our club.

It depends on who you ask. Varying factions. I'd say you can garuntee the current Sixfields attendees. I reckon a good number of Hillers. But then it's the NOPM while we're not in Coventry - some of whom I suspect didn't attend when we were at the Ricoh. Also there's the NOPM while SISU are in charge - that depends on who has the reigns when we do return and also, I suspect a large amount were rarely, if at all in attendance when we were at the Ricoh. There's those who are now out of the habbit but then there are also those who would do anything to see their team in Coventry.

In conclusion - about 9-10k - but an excited 9-10k

I don't think there'd be that many. There should be, as most are asking for Coventry to play in Coventry. It would be a bit hypocritical if they brought CCFC back, and then hardly anyone turned up.
However I could see no more than the regulars from last season going

If it did happen under the current owners, then I sincerely hope everyone would turn up in a SISU OUT shirt.

i'd say that if there were a return to the ricoh,
1. under sisu - 10,000 - 14,000;
2. under a.n.other - 22,000 +
the damage caused by this malevolent regime will only be able to be assessed in years to come,
shall we list the characters who have previously been involved & imho, disgraced themselves;
Clouting, Brody, Igwe, Dulieu, Clarke, Fisher, Labowicz,
GIVE COVENTRY CITY FANS BACK THEIR CLUB

If they had any sense they'd make the first game back in Cov free, or as close to it as the FL will allow (don't know if they have rules), as the one set of people who have been innocent in all of this is the fans.

I believe 15 - 17,000. Lets not forget the promise this young team is showing. If we were averaging 12,000 last season surely we would top that by another few thousand

Playing well with the look of promotion or playoff i think easy 20k + till it looks like there is no chance of either then fall away drastically!

Im sure if they did this for home fans they have to offer the same to visitors, maybe wrong, would cause a few headaches then again good ones compared to the current!

I already have mine and it comes with a fire certificate.

I really Hate them now but would find it hard to stay away from the Ricoh if i'm honest. Not going into sixfields was hard enough but now I know it was the right decision.

Cheers pal.

I've said before that I'm at Uni in Cov and have (because of my sheer love of football) regrettably gone to Sixfields for two games.

I'm never going to Sixfields again.

Well the poll michael did said only 60% would watch cov at the Ricoh under sisu, given that last seasons attendance was c11k I can only assume we will get around 6k

I have said all along I will buy a season ticket if we come home. I wouldn't be able to make many games as I work shifts and live so far away but it would be my way of putting a little cash into SISU/our club. Otherwise they won't get a penny out of me. My ticket could go to someone deserving that can't afford one to use when I can't make it.

There are many of us that won't go again until SISU have gone. There are many more though that will go again once we are back home. And the so called plastic fans will be back if we keep playing as we are with scoring and winning. We would have very big crowds for Div 3 if we played like this and SISU never tried destroying us to get hold of the Ricoh.

So can we refer to polls now?
Or is it only if it suits?

The difference is last year the football was dire the team are playing some of the best football I can remember since the Hadji, Chippo, Keano, Dublin days so many more people would still go to the Ricoh no matter who the owners are 15K plus me thinks

No, it doesn't suit me, I think that poll was BS and we'll get the same level of support as last season.

You're the one that likes to refer to polls, when it suits.

Touchy

You don't think the better football
And the wave of optimism of a return to the Ricoh will bring back our averages
