Les Reid trying to apply more pressure on behalf of SISU???.....................sick making

Fed up of Les Reid now. He bores me ..........

I think the piece is quite neutral, even well written. It's a collection of already known facts and statements leading up to where we are today in terms of returning to the Ricoh.
How is it applying pressure on behalf of sisu?

Why is the telegraph still publishing stories about returning to the ricoh? Its embarrassing now. if a deal was to be done it was last season, now sixfields has actually gone ahead it makes me sick how people think oh yeah ricoh again and see articles such as this morning. Sisu wont move in unless ACL sell and ACL wont sell. It fregin simple people. Get over it LR stop publishing useless stories.

SISU are having valuations of the Ricoh one as a trading asset and a second one as just the land for redevelopment - could be true or is this just scaremongering, won't be sold to SISU and why would you ever knock it down ? Can't build their own stadium but can talk about knocking another one down !!!!

I haven't read the piece. My issue with him is over his twitter meltdown.
So would I have had a meltdown! the people on Twitter were down right Insulting & Rude and could not hold a reasoned Argumentto save their lives, the guy has to be neutral or else the Telegraph would ship him out and because he does not come down hard on the SISU/OTIUM/ACL/CCC everyone insults the guy. Typical supporters logic

He launched a personal attack on Michael who runs the NOPM/KCIC campaign. Tell me that is neutral?

It just seems a rehash of a rehash, with nothing particularly new of note. He continues to make the point that SISU/OTIUM own the club and won't be forced out, and will only finally go on their terms and presumably after they have somehow have achieved a return for their investors. But this supposition is based purely on what Fisher and Sepalla have consistently stated.
However they have both consistently stated that they intend to build a new stadium, yet virtually no mention is ever given to this 'promise'. How can you believe one statement but not the other.
If you believe that their new stadium plan is just bluster, why would you pay much credence to their boast that they won't be forced out. History is littered with people/companies/unions/countries who uttered the immortal words, 'No Surrender', only days/weeks later to finally throw the towel in.

Couldn't agree more, mate.

Hardly a "meltdown". Responded robustly. Called on people to shape up or resign. Campaign leaders and bloggers now seen to be acting more responsibly. Fair play

ACL can't sell the stadium as they don't own it. And we're building are own stadium according to Joy and Tim.

On what basis did Michael need to shape up or resign? How does he have the right to state whether people need to resign or not?

No, he didn't. He responded and then went back and back over it over the course of a week. Retweeted anything from anyone who supported him, often quite sycophantically. He wasn't just tweeting, he was gatling gun tweeting like a mad man, and to all intents, it felt like being at school and someone rounding up a gang of like-minded folk to marginalise someone who slighted him. It truly was the epitome of embarrassment

Completely agree with this. Stopped following him on twitter that week because it was literally embarassing!

The interesting part of the Telegraph article today was Sisu and Arvo would own the Ricoh and charge
Otium (another sisu company)rent to play there. That rent would be high enough to give the investors a return on their money. CCFC would probably be worse off with no investment and low gates.

Do not sell to sisu, ACL hold your nerve.

Nah. Your anonymous posting is really the "epitomy of embarassment". Continuing with personal smears rather than debating the issues. Clearly a cowardly biased campaigner threatened by anyone who reports another view. Pathetic and sad really.

Personal smears? Care to elaborate? Otherwise, that's just irony at it's best.

Sad and pathetic? Interesting adjectives. Ones that are more relevant to the Twitter activity of that journalist at the time. Your chosen words of 'responded robustly' are a joke. Do you know what robust means? The Online dictionary describes it's use as: 'Full of health and strength; vigorous'; which is what that embarrassing twitter tirade wasn't. It was whining, childish, and pulling in strength from anyone prepared to offer such. Which isn't 'robust' at all

I think people are missing the point. Of course we all want Cov back in Cov. If we sell to Sisu, and it turns out that ARVO own the stadium, and are charging CCFC rent which is unsustainable for the football club then we will be worse off. Fans are entitled to want the club back in Coventry but feel that CCC should not sell the Ricoh to Sisu.

I want Cov back in cov. I just fear that if we do sell to Sisu what are we going to be in a few years time. Could be good. Could be bad.

Who do you want owning the ground? Sisu? CCC? or CCFC?

Now who's going in angry "meltdown"? Who are you? Very similar postings to a certain ACL director. Seriously, calm down and grow up
