Are you talking about the squatters or Sisu?

Scum of the earth and no doubt the police will be too frightened to evict them and sit on their hands as usual.

There's one rule for law abiding, tax paying citizens and another law for pikeys.

Tbf, the Police are restricted in what they can do.

Plus they'd get slated more if they went in full force removing these pests, than if they "sat on their hands".

In an ideal world, there would be no rights to the travellers, and evicted from private land shouldn't have to go through the courts. But it does.

I drove past McDonalds on the Holyhead Road yesterday about half 5 yesterday and there was already 4 or 5 caravans in the car parks there with more joining them. Old Bill were already with them so not sure how they "lost them".

Strange question, but did they have horses with them? (The gypo's I mean not the cops). I only ask as I went Morrisons last night on Holyhead Rd and it stank of horse manure!

Actually the law about squatting rights and that includes travellers rights have been changed more recently and the police do have the power to remove them without a court order now.

What annoys me about them is that they all have flash cars and new vans etc, but are they taxed and insured? Surely you need a permanent address to tax your vehicle (as well as insurance). Why aren't these details checked and used against them?

Pretty sure that only applies to council or public land ... Private property is a different matter

Why aren't these details checked and used against these pikey tossers! They get away with anything! We have to pay, why don't they?

the thing is, its not like the police can impound their vehicles. how are they going to move them on if they cant tow their caravan's?

just had a thought

what if acl have turned the car park into a caravan site while its not being used?

Then expect an email from the trust advertising caravan holidays instead of going to sixfields.

This is a light hearted joke before anybody blows their top!

Thought the Ricoh land was council land, they own the freehold, part own ACL. As for the travellers themselves, people give them work, if they didn't they wouldn't be here.
