Whilst accepting SISU are largely responsible for the situation we find ourselves in, Coventry City Council are not without blame. The Council could, and should, have done more. Maybe it is now time to double our efforts and put pressure on the Council as well ? PUSB NOPM ! Sisu Out

Would like a clear message from the Trust that ACL should state their best offer publically so we can cut through the crap.

Not sure what people want the Council to do, unless they want them to sell the Ricoh?

But the ball is not in their court now is it? All this only came about with a long drawn out refusal to pay the agreed rental contract in full, that was SISU's biggest mistake and revealed their allegeded intentions of distressing ACL. If they had kicked up but still paid the rent at the same time then the bitterness and resentment may have been kept out of negotiations.

I don't know why it's taken people this long to consider it...

I always pay the council tax online, but invariably forget to do it until a day or three after the due date. Sticking the needle to them bit by bit, y'all.

As far as Im concerned the CCC are just as much to blame as the other parties yet I never see any criticism go there way!!

It's because they can't see recognise the owners of the club who have been hitting the ball from the otherside of the court allegedly, yet when they're happy to recognise SISU for there own benefits they mysteriously manage it..

Council have screwed up on many fronts, but ask yourselves what you want the council to do?

If its sell to SISU, they probably would, but not at a price that SISU would accept.

What would the quarter of a million ratepayers in Coventry who don't give a shit about football think if they virtually gave the place away, so SISU could have their pound of flesh? How many complain about how far their rates go these days, with cuts to services .... and then the council virtually give away a prized assett.

they wrote off 600k when they didnt sign CVA so i dont think they care about that

i want them to sell ricoh to ccfc, they can keep council and other sutff but give stadium to city

for reasonable price,not expensive

go public about it too, so people cant make assumptions that sisu refuse to pay it etc.

What benefit do the ratepayers in Coventry get out of the Ricoh at present?

why on earth dont SISU just come out and say what they will pay per year to temp stay in Cov until their arena is built ?

Why do they need long term assurances to temp rent the Ricoh, yet happy to temp rent Sixfields without long term assurances ?

I agree there mate: it should be out in the open; it should be reasonable; it should belong to ccfc.

Not sure about the 600k though, would the flip side of the coin be signing the CVA and kiss goodbye to the £1.?? million owed in rent and god knows how much in future revenue?

its your subconscious mind telling you its the most likely truth and so your non-pro acl side lashes out insults !!!!

Nice theory. But actually it's just that I find the way you post very annoying. Simple as that really.

ACL won't let them temporarily stay at the Ricoh til the ground is built:

24: Did CCFC inform ACL that it intends to move to a new built ground in South Warwickshire

ACL: Yes, Chris West and Paul Harris were advised post 29 January 2013 meeting during a follow up discussion with Tim Fisher, Mark Labovitch and John Clarke, that the Club wanted a three year run off period. This was totally rejected by the ACL representatives. There were no details provided of the location other than “South Warwickshire”, and that it would potentially take three years.

Lets get back to the 600k that you said ACL had lost out on and you know because you are a smart tool then?
