I've MySpaced him, Carrier Pigeoned him, Sky Sports Newsed him and Babestationed him.

Still waiting for a response chaps.

So basically you have given your message to another bird?

I was almost as excited about Phil Masinga as I was about Alexi Lalas. The two that got away. Linkedin me for more nostalgia.

Hey! At least I'm trying! What are you doing for our club?!?! EH? EHHHHHHH? Scab. Puppet. Jammie Dodger. Inanimate Object.

She asked me what my favourite position was and I simply replied "I quite like Baker at right wing but would be interested to see if he could play in the hole behind the strikers. HOWEVER darling, thats not what I asked, I wanted to know where he was training and practicing swinging his balls in."

Any further updates and you chaps will be the first to know.

I think personally this is horse shite.

You only have to look at SP's reaction to the Leon and Scunny thing to realise that SP is fed up of the rumours about Murphy, Clarke and Baker and that the club have no interest in selling the players, I don't think any of them will be gone before the end of the window.

Agreed. It is much more likely that January is when we will see people leave.

No smoke without fire.
Just when everybody starts to love SISU they drop to new levels. If he goes let's see how these followers justify it.
We know TF will blame poor attendances but he did say SISU will finance the drop in income.

i said this all along. sisu will just sell and sell, anyone half decent they will sell, no ambition to get out of league 1

Possibly, but if we are near the top six which if we tighten up at the back and continue to smash them in then we could be in with a good chance then expect SISU to hold onto our players for a push up to the Championship..

But they may not have the option. Numerous players contracts are up this summer. If they want out, and why wouldn't they, the club may have no option. I'm hearing all is not well on the playing side. (Results aside ) We have more Cov Kids in the team than ever. They understand what KCiC is about. Also everything suggests Pressly not getting on personally with Waggot and Fisher.....and apparently oggy lost it with Fisher more than once about moving to Northampton.... people are only still there out of loyaly to each other and fans. If the dam breaks and people start leaving it could get messy if this isn't all sorted soon !

I think they would take getting promoted at the end of the season and then negotiating newer contracts at a decent level. However with the rumours I can't comment on them, but I agree this all needs to be sorted.

But I think timing is everything. "If" players are looking to leave in January then all they need to do is not sign contracts that are currently on the table and tell their agents to go earn their money. we know scouts of other clubs are already circling.

As for the rumours...yep I can't honestly substantiate, I do know some people close to some of the players, but by definition everything I hear is second / third hand. One piece that seems to be generally agreed is the manager does not have an office. Waggot and Fisher have taken that over.........

Has it been confirmed yet?

No but looking at the thread on the SUFC forum, that rumour started on the 12th Aug... Only so happens today that is when Baker allegedly trained with them.. It doesn't add up to me.

My word, you can be a plank at times.

"Just when everybody starts to love SISU..."

Explain this nonsense.

Liven up man. It's a piss take on the SISU lovers saying that we will be coming back now we are winning and the so called new followers who are now going.....

I agree. No player would ever pick one of their kids up above their head if there was a chance of them leaving their present club.

If that's sarcasm then you're retarded mate, why would a player give a shit about a last minute goal for a team he is leaving

Don't forget if they do go TF said there are loads of players out there looking for clubs.

In my mind this means there are players out there available that clubs don't want but Coventry do.

The bloke is a first class twat.

Thanks for the complement :claping hands:

Try waking up. Shake your head and get rid of the cobwebs. Players don't always have a choice of leaving their club or staying. Ask the bomb squad. Just because a clubs owners want to sell a player it don't mean he has no feelings for the club. Also going to a bigger club than ours with better owners wouldn't be a bad move. Again not a reason to suddenly hate the club or fans.

I am not saying he is going or staying. My guess is as good or bad as anyone else. But how many would be shocked if he went and another couple of 1st team players followed him?

Don't see Sheffield paying money for a 30 year old when Weir is building a young and energetic team there.

We also have a young and energetic team. You also need experience in the squad and team to help them when needed. Wouldn't be a massive amount to pay for the experience and good player for the level they are at. SISU would see it as a bonus for getting a couple of quid as well as getting one more off the wage bill.

Meh I'll believe it when I see it, not when it's origins are probably football rumours.com

Same here, but you are talking as though it won't happen when there is a very good chance he would be gone if another club came in for him. I would say that this is the same for any player we have.
