2 Points thrown away (6 Viewers)

It seems to me that the club are more interested in goal feasts to show the stayaway fans what they are missing, than winning the game.
We won't win many games where we concede 4

Well I don't think it's a plan to concede goals but it was definitely 2 points lost

The game should have been seen out at 3-2 with 5 mins left, weather the late goals is due to us remaining too attack minded or a lack of experience/quality in defence I don't know

Thought the keeper was shocking. Their 4th goal everyone was protesting the foul in the box when they should have played to the whistle. He was caught off guard and should have made the save.

We were unfortunate today. Missed a few sitters, whereas every Preston attempt seemed to go in. Would have won the game easily on another day.

You were all over them and looked class i.m.o. One thing you didn't do is close down the game when in the lead. Still this air of desperation probably caused by the minus points I think. One concern for me would be the number of scouts and agents in the stands...vultures are looming...

We are the 'entertainers' with the 'older' heads trying to help the youngsters who are naive, with no inhibitions and look as though we can score from almost every attack, long may it continue!

We're scoring goals for fun at the moment shame about our dodgy defence though.
If they could tighten up at the back they look a decent side but we are too naive at times, but with young players they will make mistakes so Pressley needs to get in another experienced player in the defence,or all the good work and goals will amount to nothing if they keep on leaking preventable goals.

If our board have the ability to make the team play exciting football whenever they want. Where the fuck have they been the last 10 years?

Where have they been for the past 5 years it might be argued?

However...back to thread. Given we were behind 3 times I guess Preston might argue same.I.e.2 points lost?

I think Preston might be in the mix come April next and so a point gained for me? If only the good folk of coventry could witness it....

To give you an idea, this is a comment from a Preston fan:

"We were garbage, no idea how we've bagged 4. Would have had no complaints had we lost 4-0, Coventry are lethal on the break."

We were outstanding at times today.

The goals we are conceding are a mixture of deflections and bad luck rather than bad defending where as the goals we are scoring are created and well taken.Clarke should have had a hat rick.

I will take your eyes!
I'm on hols at present so reliant on brief glimpses of this forum and texts from friends for updates.
My judgement was based on the data alone....

It seems the academy has produced a great crop of young talent. Logic and good sense would suggest you would at least keep investing in the club's future. Yet seemingly in another example of petty spite SISU have taken the academy out of the excellent facility at the Higgs Centre, thus endangering the club's future lifeline.
