Can anyone who's watched the game from the hill outside Sixfields give me an idea of how much you can see? I'd love to see the game on Sunday but ideally not from inside the ground. NOPM an' all that...

I haven't been to Sixfields myself and don't want to to be honest.
I also feel that if someone keeps going to this Hill to watch games it won't be long before they go inside.
I'm going to stick to my belief that we shouldn't be there.

the issue i have with jimmy's hill is i don't understand the point of going to Northampton to stand on a hill and watch football to protest about not wanting to go to Northampton to watch football. with the exception of any televised games as the NOPM campaign is likely to get good publicity from it.

or am i missing the point?

The temptation to enter the ground is the least of your worries, according to my brother there were local chavs trying to sell crack cocaine to those on the hill. It's a fucking disgrace.

What a load of crap, its a main road with a small fence then a public footpath on top of the large hill.
You see about a two thirds of the pitch.
No one bothers you at all

Yes you are missing the point.
If someone wants to stand on the hill and make a statement then its there choice, just like these who choose to go inside.
I may go again this Sunday but never into the ground.
My choice

Tim Fisher is the crime boss and has realised Northampton has more junkies.

I am going to the Hill tomorrow to show my disgust at what they are doing I have no interest in watching the game .

The point of the Hill is that they can see us from inside the Ground so cannot pretend it isn't happening.......

I will get back to watch the second half of the ladies at the Ricoh.

I may just join you, just want to show my own personal feelings, this is hurting us and got to start standing up to what we believe in.

I never really got this also, Lets go to Sixfields and stand on the hill and protest about playing inside sixfields but on the other hand we will cheer and celebrate when we can see us scoring at the same thing we are protesting against??? Sounds strange to me!

Exactly, why bother going to stand on the hill?

I am basically of the idea that if we are complaining about the club being 34 miles away from its home, we don't go the 34 miles from our home to complain about it.

It's my choice to stand on the hill, will never go onto the ground as that's just pouring fuel on our problems.
Just feel that I have to do more than just moan about our issues, if I can stand on that ill it will personally make me feel better.
Even if I were to be offered free tickets I will not accept.

What would you do Otis?
This is hurting me so much and feel like part of me is missing, just have to do something.

Feel like part of me is missing too.

I honestly didn't even know who we were playing on Sunday until two days ago when someone put a thread up about Preston predictions.

We have had two great results and though I was pleased, normally I would be jumping for joy and have a smile on my face all weekend. I would be bouncing.

We've won these two games I haven't got anywhere close to any euphoria. We have a great win and I am then usually rubbing my hands with glee in expectation for the next home game. Well as I am not going to any home games anymore any pleasure is tainted with an empty feeling, as I don't feel part of it.

It's almost as if I am on holiday abroad and I'm following the club from afar. I have no excitement in me whatsoever over any game we are playing at ll.

It"s Saturday, I should be getting up and looking forward to going to the game.
I can't see why someone would go to Northampton to protest about having to go to Northampton to watch CCFC. Sunday is not football day.
Each to their own, but it"s not for me.

Each to there own but for me travelling 34 miles to protest about having to travel 34 miles seems silly. Bit like protesting to get back to the Ricoh, then if we ever get back there the same people start singing
"take me home to highfield road".
