here's an idea i had for all the people who dont subscribe to the NOPM to shitsu campaign and apportion equal or more blame to ACL/CCC in the whole saga.

if you pay your council tax to CCC why dont you go on council tax strike and state that you wont start paying again until they arrange a situation where CCFC return to the city as they are failing to provide you with the services you need.

personally i feel that ACL are the lesser of 2 evils and follow the NOPM to shitsu campaign (+ i live in Rugby) but maybe the council are getting of lightly in direct pressure from the fans and this is your chance to make a statement to to them.

I suggested this (slightly tongue in cheek) only yesterday on another thread (Yawn!!!)

Again it's about numbers. Enough people and it has impact.

I think the council have to realise that the Ricoh isn't the only 'community asset' they need to protect. If a football club isn't a community asset for the local people, then what on Earth is it?

I have decided to join the NOPM against CCC. I won't pay them council tax. Not paying to park a car. Not doing anything that will give them money.

Only fair as I am NOPM with SISU.

Possibly not because you might get a few threatening letters and then a court summons etc. If you continue not to pay.

If SISU won't negotiate around 150k what else can ACL do? Stupid idea from SISU I suspect.

Probably offer it for less and let the club have the income it generates....would be a starting point.

Oh and lifting matchday parking restrictions around the stadium on matchday as a cheeky bonus.

No idea how much a successful football club would be worth to the local economy.

Didn't acl.say they couldn't go any lower but then sisu walked away and acl then went lower?

That's right. Think that was due to the council taking on the Yorkshire bank debt therefore reducing acl's outgoings.

Sisu decided to thank them for that by trying to take them to court.

The £400k offer was after the council took on the debt if memory serves me right, however that was after the initial £600k offer.

Now they can afford £150k.

Where is the evidence that is offer has been made without conditions attached?

Why can't ACL, now the CVA has been rejected, make an offer of £150k rent p/a to the club?

What conditions other than 10 year deal could be applied and removal of JR?

Surely Northampton are taking a similar 5K a game to make it worth there while.

Has the deal been withdrawn ? I thought SISU just rejected it immediately.

Sisu didn't reject it, Appleton told them they couldn't legally include it as part of the CVA...that was before the adjournment, they came back and hadn't removed it.

As far as we know, the offer has never been offered to sisu outside of the CVA.

I can't believe that SISU could not accept an agreement outside the CVA. I believe they had eyes on the JR ( and still do ).

ACL need to explain this. I have heard discussion on an investigation but I don't see where this happens.

Agreed, they mentioned the investigation but 1) appleton has until October to investigate the last 3 years (the alleged movement of assets was in the last 2) and 2) they would have happily signed if the lease was agreed and JR withdrawn, so the investigation couldn't have been the most important thing to them.

I'm desperately clinging to the hope that ACL knew exactly what they were doing and have some fiendish masterplan. I doubt it though.

I fear they do, it's called 'make the club sell to Elliott and Hoffman'

Well apparently the agreement at Shitfields is £200K for the season.. according to CJ

The cunning plan is to offer the club to Haskell. They haven't yet realised its not theirs to offer.
