many a truth said in jest.

I've often thought that if Joy was Jim this would have been sorted by now.
Wow, what an utterly ridiculous statement.

We've got Tim Fisher lier and bullshitter in chief on one side and the maturity of tieing sisu out balloons to his car on the other.

Yeah women are the problem, not a ruthless, souless, heartless hedgefund who want what they want and will crush anyone to get it no matter how unethical or morally bankrupt it is.

" We've got Tim Fisher... on one side"

Fisher? Fisher's a nobody. He's just an insignificant fall guy, an obedient punch bag deflecting attention away from 'She who is never seen but will be obeyed'

Yep. she's the problem all right. That woman.

How many other hedge funds act in exactly the same way? and most of them run by men. Joy is likely to be the biggest reason for this mess but to suggest it's because of her sex is nonsense of the highest order.

Actually, in terms of the blame game I'm very much 95% SISU/5% ACL on all this, if not even more extreme. But I don't think the Council or ACL should ever close their door to meetings with SISU. Sooner or later, both sides will have to talk.

Having said that, I'd expect there's a lot of spin here from Sinclaire. She seems rabidly anti-council. Anything that makes them look bad, or can be portrayed that way will be seized upon - she's certainly not interested in helping the club, imho.

Exactly. I'm sure no-one in their right mind would have sex with her.

Is that party politics? She's a Lib Dem isn't she criticising a Labour run council.

Dont really see what use Sinclaire is in this ......... is it just me or does her being involved at all come over as an exercise in keeping her name in the media?

really do not need more posturing or PR junkies

It may be so she looks for selfish PR on this. However, it keeps CCFC in the news showing that grown people (no sexism here) in the media spotlight will not even entertain the idea to sit around a table to start discussions representing thousands of other people (CCFC fans) who have made a clear stance. I think it may just help the cause.

As OSB has already stated, Nicky Sinclair can not change the situation we are in. Why would the council sit round the table with Joy when she is appealing the decision on the judicial review. Would you not back the council over selling SISU the arena at a knocked down price when the council know their will be no regeneration of the surrounding land under their ownership. Why would you discuss selling a community asset to someone who is just going to either mortgage it up to the hilt and saddle the club with even more debt or turn it straight away for a profit. How ever unfair it seems to all us Cov fans the Ricoh is not just about us its about making the best of a community asset. This has got ages to run yet, its a game of brinkmanship that's going to end up with SISU loosing, possibly liquidating the remaining assets of the club through the debenture and the football league looking even bigger fuckwits than they do now. If SISU were interested in the club they would have took the 150k offer, never mind what Appleton says about the offer being a non starter because of the law, if football was at the centre of this we would still be at the Ricoh. This is all going to end in tears, I will fight with everyone to get CCFC back in the city but a phoenix club in some guise is looking more and more like the outcome now. PUSB NOPM

Meetings seem utterly pointless now, they have met and discussed dozens of times, if they haven't agreed by now they aren't going to agree. The only way we go back to the Ricoh under sisu is if ACL sell them the Ricoh, are ACL willing to sell sisu the Ricoh? No, then what is there to discuss?

That said if I were her I'd have agreed to a meeting to avoid bad publicity.

Do you think most (apart from Sisu) would be happy with a return to the original conditions: ACL 50/50 CCC and CCFC. CCFC get 100% football related income and 50% of the rest.

With ACL on a better mortgage now they'll be profitable quicker and if Sisu know so much about "sweating assets" everyone will be quids in.

Wasn't she lobbied by our fans as soon as she showed an interest?
