Paraphrasing comes to mind! Sensationalism from Sinclaire I would suggest, as it takes more than one person to have a meeting - unless your Fisher of course.

Meetings seem utterly pointless now, they have met and discussed dozens of times, if they haven't agreed by now they aren't going to agree. The only way we go back to the Ricoh under sisu is if ACL sell them the Ricoh, are ACL willing to sell sisu the Ricoh? No, then what is there to discuss?

That said if I were her I'd have agreed to a meeting to avoid bad publicity.

Thank you Coventry Council your failure to get behind the table and resolve this issue which ensures that my Football Club keeps playing in Northampton in the near future..

Morons.

ACL said that allegedly Joy said we'd only go back to the Ricoh if the freehold was sold to her at her price which could only be by the council as ACL can't sell the freehold, they don't own it.

Isn't Nickki Sinclair an ex-UKIP member, now sole (I think) member of the right wing We Demand a Referendum party? Ann Lucas being a left-leaning Labour leader? Right wing. Left wing.

This is why politics can be so damn annoying. I remember having a few beers with the guy who was responsible for planning at a certain local council. The Labour block would vote through controversial planing in Tory seats to make the electorate unhappy with the sitting councilor. The Tories, when the majority reverted to them, would do the same in reverse. They actually considered it amusing.

Little consideration for the poor bugger who ended up with a power station in his back garden; the cause was lost in the politics.

So many stances are politically motivated, and designed to promote a politik or an individual. Ridiculous

Dont really see what use Sinclaire is in this ......... is it just me or does her being involved at all come over as an exercise in keeping her name in the media?

really do not need more posturing or PR junkies

The same applies though, are the council going to be willing to sell the freehold? No! then there is no point to a meeting.

In a positive sense somebody needs to mediate, and at least try to get the process moving forward again as opposed to Mexican standoffs, and her position gives her more leverage in that than any others who've tried.

Yep, I'll be voting against her because of it. Helps that I disagree with her views on having a referendum though too. The general public is not smart or informed enough to properly answer the question.

I think what matters is the people who have to say in all this are the ones who need to meet. Anyone else is just feathering their own cap.

To be fair, saying that you won't vote for her because of getting involved when you won't vote for her anyway is empty posturing that any politician would be proud of.

There is only a point to mediation if there is a solution available but the personalities are preventing that solution, but while it looked like that was the case in the past thats when we believed it was about rent. That doesn't seem to be the case and so unless ACL/Council are willing to sell to SISU then there is no point in mediation.

No thats not what I said, I said I'll be voting against her. I have never voted in MEP elections in the past, I didn't know anything about the people and never bothered. This time I will go to the effort of voting and I'll be voting against her.

many a truth said in jest.

I've often thought that if Joy was Jim this would have been sorted by now.

You're right actually.

If people called ,say, Bryan, Geoffrey, Michael, Joe, Paul, Ray and Timmy had been involved in the club over the years, we'd probably be hovering just under the top four in the Premiership.

Damn the female-centric way that football is run in this country.

Might have a chance if one side wasn't continuously trying to sue the other ?
Maybe you will wake up to the fact that Sisu don't want to negotiate !!!!!
