can I thank all you fans who were at the Ricoh today,to see our heroes from the past.
Very well behaved too.
Glad that some of the younger generation got to see hucks and Noel.(they could still do a job now)

I managed to film 1 hour, including 6 goals, was behind the goals that we were attacking.
the sound of SISU out had come out great.
now to try to get it onto DVD.will do that weds.
thanks to CCFPA's Billy Bell and the trust(god how many wristbands did they sell today?).
And for those who went to sixfields

Well done Deano and all who orchestrated a fine day. Billy Bell was terrific I thought. The fans were also excellent. Great to see some former sky blue players again. Huckerby, Whelan, Whelan, Whelan......

You know what Deano, I went today cos I'm pissed off at the owners and if I'm honest the actual FPA game was the last thing I cared about.

That all changed once the game kicked off. Sent chills down my spine cheering on Hucks on a mazy run or chanting "Whelan! Whelan!" with the SBA.

Well done to all involved and thanks for giving us a positive action to get behind in all this mess and negativity at the moment.

Thumbs up Deano, well done :claping hands:

I assume that it was your 'video' of old city goals, Jimmy Hill etc - there was a good atmosphere and togetherness about the fans. I think we all had a collective therapy session. Well done to all involved. Got to say, I was chuffed for the City players (especially the youngsters)with the win against Bristol (couldn't stop myself caring about the result!)PUSB :blue:

I bought five wristbands gave one to a nephew who was there with us and will distribute the others this week. It was so nice to watch a game of football at our home and to see so many turning out in aid of good causes. Watching Hucks and Whelan (and yes I did shout Snowy once) made me realise how fast they must have been back in the day, which I just took for granted. I hope it raised a fortune and no-one is nursing any stiff muscles this evening. Managed to miss the video montage Deano as it wasn't on in Singers, so would love to see that on YouTube too.

great day, even if it was a bit emotional. Maybe Tim Fisher would like to explain what he's doing to the old chap sat by me who was in tears before the game had even kicked off saying he wasn't well enough to travel to away games and this would be the last time he would see a Coventry team play before he dies.

well done to everyone involved. still got the same rush everytime Hucks got the ball and started on one of his runs.
