If we sell the Ricoh to sisu we would be rid of sisu in six months, that's the only way I see us getting rid of them.Thats what I think would be better for us in long run.

Problem is if SISU had the stadium then decide they have had enough and liquidate CCFC that would mean any replacement team would have to negotiate rent with SISU. Can't see them doing us any favours with that.

I believe, if I give my money to the bully, he'll have some lunch then will stop asking me for money.

What's to stop Sisu buying the Ricoh with one company, then selling off the company that is the football club, putting us back to square one but with Sisu as landlords?

Well I believe that Jesus died for our sins but that doesn't mean that we all will die on a cross if we sin. Sisu must bite the bullet and liquidate themselves and make sure they have paid in full all their money owed to HMRC before I will even contemplate thinking about them being able to do something like that. It would make me cross to high heaven if they were to get awat with paying for things which they are actually supposed to pay for like they did before. It's so wrong.

IF Sisu got control of ACL would they reunite the ground with the club?
Very unlikely IMO given their track record.
I think we would see the rent go up, the hotel and casino sold off and the club put up for sale without the Ricoh as part of the deal.
SISU are not interested in 'the good of the club' they are only interested in extorting money out of the poor fools who are addicted to the skyblues

to be fair the hmrc debt was tiny
that is the strange thing - acl excepted, they do seem to pay all of their bills

not sure why?

This is what they'd do

Seen this before with pubs. The Company bought the Freehold, set up a lease with a sister Company & leased the pub on a very high rent. No matter how badly the pub did, they still got a profit from it through the rent & when they sold the pub, they didn't sell the freehold & kept the high rent! This will now be SISU's long term strategy to get their money out of the club without the club having to be successful.

Those saying they can't make an income without the club being successful are wrong!

Skybluesam66, Sisu left the Higgs Charity in the lurch as well, not paying the bills at Allard Way. Hence the youth set up is at Warwick University. Watch them not pay there too.
Have they paid the printers for the programme I wonder & lots of miscellaneous bills?

It's not a inability to pay - they just didn't want to!

They've stumped up £1m for the bond to move to Northampton etc. they have money & can afford the rent etc. they just don't want to pay it

They haven't even stumped up the £1m, Sky Blue Ste. It's not due to be paid for 3 years yet!

Well, they pay PAYE from their direct employees, and they pay their VAT on services supplied through outlets, but do they pay corporation taxes? do they pay any company taxes? or is everything funnelled around the world to avoid higher rate taxes with any debt dumped into the CCFC businesses (whatever their names might be this week)?

What I've been saying these past few weeks is that we should consider selling to Sisu but make sure there are caveats in place to protect the arena for the people of Coventry and for Coventry City.

These would have to pretty solid SISU lawyer proof caveats Otis. And would you trust them to honor any contract? 6 months down the line it will be 'ah well you see... that contract is in Sky Blue Holdings Entertainment Otium Blardy Blah Group Ltd, not with us... and they are in admin'

In short - the Ricoh isn't ours to sell.

ACL could sell to SISU...but on or both sides refuses to talk to the other or issue ultimatums rather than negotiations...or they are just so diverse in what a suitable deal would be for them - they will never reach agreement.
CCFC belongs to SISU, & they decide where CCFV play...not ACL, FL or us fans. If we do not like it - we reserve the right not to go watch (e.g. No "home" games for me thanks). If we wish to support ACL - who might franchise a pro-team IN to the Ricoh (mixed feelings on that anyone? Is it simply SISU actions in reverse???) then we can just pay to watch whatever & whoever performs there.
