It says that the club will not be able to fulfill the benefits in the original agreement whilst they are ground sharing. I have these options: £23 discount on a ST for every season they are at Northampton, pay the previous season's price for a ST in the "new stadium": choice of seat in new stadium: If I am unable to go to Northamampton they will "freeze" the renewal clause for the period they are not in Coventry:if I do not rewew my ST I will still have priority on tickets. Not sure if it means all of the above its not clear. Sounds a bit desperate to me!!!

it basically lays out the new terms and conditions, although I thought that in order to change these both parties have to agree ? There is no mention of a refund !!

do i hear the bells of litigation in the air.

if you have a PSL seat try taking them through the small claims court as breach of contract. if the 1st one who does it wins it will set a precadent for the rest.

or am i talking bollocks?

£23 discount - i think they cost £295 - so they would need to be there for 13 years to get payback on that one (ignoring cost of money)

Previous seasons price - for new season - based on £207 at sxfields - to make this an equivalent offer, means they are looking at a £500 season ticket for league 2 or conference football

choice of seat in new stadium - i would want the seat next to fisher!! - its the only way i would get real value

i dont have a psl - but if i did

i think that if all PSL holders could get a refund, that would swallow the gate receipts for the whole season

If the contract was with Ltd, shouldn't PSL holders have been creditors or is any offer other than "tough luck" a gesture of goodwill legally?

If they were with Ltd then Appleton would have had to write to them informing them of what's happened.

Assuming there is no small print to the contrary in the original contract then I am not sure how they can impose their solution. I would have thought any PSL holder is entitled to demand a refund of the £295 because the club can not for the forseeable future complete its side of the bargain.

What was contracted for was a particular seat in a particular stadium. No action of the PSL holder has resulted in non performance of the contract. The stadium itself has not kicked the football club out (whatever your view on that legally it hasnt). The result of loss of that privildege is due to the actions of the club.

The offer I think is an attempt to mitigate any claims but i would not have thought that it changes a bond holders rights to choose a solution that suits them

But a legal expert can advise better than me on contract law

Also I believe these contracts were taken out through CCFC H. Which is important because had it been with CCFC Ltd there would be no chance of an unsecured creditor getting anything

You should snap up that season ticket discount, I mean a full English pound off each game! Be still my beating heart.

I have a psl and they say if I can't go to Northampton then I can choose my new seat in the new stadium when the club return, but my seat is at the Ricoh which I have had since it opened and I won't be going to any other dump that shitsu build ever.

I did receive a reply from Appleton regarding my seat. He wanted me to look at my receipt and let him know which company I paid, ie ltd or holdings. Fat chance I told himl I had paid CCFC full stop

So he didn't know to which company the PSL money went to? That sounds like complete bullshit or complete incompetence. What has this parasite been doing for his £130k a month?

Must confess its late, and I've had a glass or two, but had I a PSL they'd be having to raise a formal defence against a county court action already. Only really two questions: who was paid for the PSL, and who did the letter come from. I've made the offer here before; I'll cheerfully do the research, the paperwork, and even pay half the costs of initiating the action if there's anyone who fancies taking them on. Costs here would amount to less than £30 in total, iirc. PM me if you're interested.

Should say, that's the cost of raising a claim for this in the county court. No defence means a judgement by default, a defence lets us see what their excuse is before deciding to go to court. Worth £30 to see that defence, imho.

it's got to be worth £30, you would expect fans take club owners to court would generate some press.

I am very surprised that nobody seems to have taken you up on this!

Me too, but then this is the way that these crooks want people to behave. They hope that if they make it complicated enough, everyone will just give up.

I'm half expecting to see an advert on the telly saying

Were you mis-sold a PSL seat and recently received a letter explaining your options? Bunch of Crooks is a no win no fee company that will get you the compensation you deserve......
