Isn't our lowest post-war competitive attendance the Millwall FMC match in about 1985 - about 1,500?

Well done, Fisher. The records keep coming.

Looks like there could be 10 times the number of City fans at the Ricoh.

Would love it if some saddo could try counting the crowd to see how many are free tickets that weren't taken up.

Could have been 10,000 at the Ricoh x £20 = £200,000
Northampton 1,500 x £10 = £15,000

Sisu own goal

You forgot to add in the all important x23. It's £4.6m Vs £345,000 over a season.

Edit: 5 years of that is £21.5m difference (and that's without crowds at Sixfields falling). That's enough to buy Fisher's Fantasy Arena outright almost.

2d Edit: beaten like Sisu at a Judicial Review.

I was thinking that as how true are the figures and from what source

the ticket manager was on cwr - sounded totally depressed and embarrased to be fair

If he loses his job at all over the next 5 years, he's got a damn good case for constructive dismissal. I hope none of the sales team are on commission.

The Bristol game will be about as good as it gets. There is novelty interest, we are bottom of the league and with the -10 points likely to stay there. When the Gillinghams and Shrewsburys turn up I think the gates will be less than a 1000. Desperate really.

I expect number of home fans to fall over the season not rise (unless we start a fantastic run of form which despite 2 new signings still seems unlikely), especially in terms of actual numbers of people in seats rather than a paper number padded by free season tickets. You'd expect most of the freebie season tickets to turn up game one but disappear when the weather turns.

Let's find all these filthy scabs and kill their mothers, wuuuuuuuuuur

People shouting scab at their fellow supporters deserve some grief for it but it's best done in threads where they are doing it, bringing it to other threads where everyone is discussing maturely just makes things worse.

Those going are not scabs. In fact it does a service and gives sisu the fact of what they are thought of. When you read websites it looks and sounds as if there is a 50/50 split when the truth is much different. I have only spoke to one person who is definitely going, spoke to many who have no intention of ever going.

The real figures will arrive a few games in, once the travelling fans realise what a ball ache it is going to Northampton and winter sets in. If expect the gates to go down not up. If the team continue of a losing run for example there could be less that 500 at home games, especially with smaller club in this league who don't have large fan base.

We should not give any abuse to the few who go to Northampton, we should try and talk to them individually or collectively and explain to them that by supporting SISU they are hurting the team/club.
I would like to believe that most of those going actually want the club back In Coventry, but by going all they are doing is giving fuel to Tim Fisher to pass onto the FL and others.

As supporters wew should stick together, be strong and rather than shout abuse at the few who go, we must try and talk to them to explain the error of there ways.

For those of you trying to put a downer on the financial side of fishers plan. Yes the Gates will be lower but what you non business expert idiots are failing to realise is that those 1000 fans well be buying pies and we get some of that profit.
If they all buy a pint as well we'll be totally fucking minted.

Pie and Pint £6 x 1000 = £6000
20% profit = £1200
Divide by 2 = £600

Are you the SISU accountant ? :pointlaugh:
