An old but very true saying. With these revelations about Joy Sepalla basically saying I want the whole Ricoh or else, now that is in the public domain what could she do and how far will she go in spite and believe me spite could come in it. She is owner supreme make no bones about that. Would she wrap the business up ? Can she do that ? We had that company in Warwickshire last week employing over a 100 just pull the shutters down, no hint, no discussion nothing. Is there rules that have to be followed ?

Joy might be owner of the football club, but she will surely have creditors and investors to answer to. I bet that's the reason she is in the states, she is getting a bollocking.

Probably apologizing to all of the people who's money she has lost.

At the risk of sounding more dumb than normal but have sisu lost a load of cash because of the liquidation?

They had no buyers.

If you own something you can either sell it or bin it - sisu do not have to sell, if they wish to wind up the club thy own then that is their option - it would seem odd if they did so but they could if they wanted to.

I think I'm right in saying they don't have to recognise any loss on their balance sheet until they no longer own the club. Their investors probably don't even know that some of their money is going down the toilet.

sorry Sutty I dont think thats right. SISU are obliged to give their investors an annual investment report as a minimum. That investment report will indicate the current value of their investments together with the amount invested. The investment has had nil value for years.

This is where it gets complicated for me.
Surely the investment reports would feed automatically (Spreadsheet wise) from Company accounts. Yet these company accounts never get submitted.
When I do my accounts (Quicken) I can automatically pull off any other reports (borrowing, debtors etc) I want instantly.

Buy the Ricoh for peanuts , get it valued with a football team playing there ,bingo. The next investment report looks remarkably good ! Joy's plan from the start . Question is will the resistance be there long enough to deny her

Just a very intelligent ruthless lady intent on bending rules ,using the courts and the law to her advantage .posession is 9 tenths of the law and she's just been handed the golden share back.

Not sure about this description of her or the other worshipping of her that seems to go on - making her out to be a cross between Margaret Thatcher and Wonder Woman.

With her recent record and camera shyness, I would suggest she is more of a cross between Anne Widdecombe and Forest Gump.

For all we know, CCFC might be owned by a million investors, who all put a quid in. Joy is the fund head & that million is just recycled. So if CCFC was shut down, would it really be a big lost to faceless investors?

So are your saying no books have been produced ? That doesn't sound like sisu to me !

Please don't confuse my discription of her with any sort of praise. We can only beat her if we understand her ways ! Know your enemy. She's not to be underestimated
