We go bust;

We take over Northampton!

We owe eleventy billion pounds!

We play in a 3000 capacity stadium in Mrs. Simpson's back garden in Long Lawford;

SHITZU!

So, when none of that happens...

All hail the conquering heroes who aren't as bad as that after all.

So none of those happening is now the definition of success?

P.S. I think you'll find that "eleventy billion" is copyright of GMK.....

To be fair, given where we are now, that would probably feel like success...

Quite...

I suppose that if we can just reduce our expectations far enough, it could be a "good year". We just have to redefine "good".

There's a wider point in there though isn't there, and in future years when this is but a dream, perhaps we ought to hold back on demanding the latest big name signing from our benevolant owners.

Becauise some day they'll want paying back after all.

Couldn't agree more.

I'd settle for a degree of competence and trustworthiness.

this is the worst that can happen !!!!

I would be really looking forward to the seaon now, If i supported, lets say Cov Spinx, with the "hopes" of promotion etc

I simply am resigned to CCFC losing 15 points and going down this season

It cant get any worse...We might go down a division or two, but i no longer care, and thats the bit that cant get any worse !

We'd get bigger crowds than we will at Sixfields.

The likely scenario is struggle this year and possibly get relegated with horrific crowds at a stadium 30 miles from Coventry. I know you seriously don't think thats good news so what is your thread about?

Sisu are up there as one of the top 5 worst owners in the history of UK football imo, the fact we probably won't go bust this year doesn't change that.

I dont see there is any difference between owing sisu 60 million or 600 million.

Our esteemed owners are planning on taking us out of the city. And some on here tell us day is night. Everything will be all right, yeah right. Sisu plants without an ounce of Norman Wisdom more like. How low can you go.

I'd say our previous owners were worse...

The previous owners were worse, apart from the fact that at no point did they ever threaten to take the club out of Coventry and away from its fans.

The other notable thing I feel is that when the unholy trinity were here and in charge it did still feel like our club.

It doesn't anymore. We are now run by a bunch of faceless individuals who don't even seem to have any tangible link to the club or care about us one jot.

As individuals though, fully agree on the previous owners and some of the damage they have done.

Fucking hell, we're back to the fucking SISU plant line now are we?

Is this just because I didn;t like your idea of a rival team, right here, right now?

Engage brain first!

You seem a little uptight today. 1300 posts since april. You can have a day off you know.

I might just do that, fine advice Mr. Wasp.

Especially as half of them need to be justifying my very position, which says a lot about the pointlessness of a discussion board really. Thank the Lord for the likes of Mr. Dazzle is all.

It would have been nice if the poster had actually read my opening post here and, then, asked himself if a SISU plant would really put that.

Really?

They'd be a pretty rubbish plant if that was their content.

It is becoming obvious who the SISU employees are. Lots of rhetoric but unable to justify.

Something to do while there's nothing to do in the office.

tbf, that'd be virtually the entire board then.

Hope it's a big office!

IMO, the worst has already happened. CCFC no longer play in the City of Coventry.
For many, myself included, CCFC no longer exists until it is returned to the City.

I agree. I would rather they were liquidated and we could start again in Coventry. At least then we would know where we were. At the moment everyone is split.

In my opinion, a breakaway club will happen next season as there is enough support for it. This shit needs sorting quickly.

Yep. It does exist of course but just feels like it doesn't.

Norman, if the cap fits, wear it. You're such a patronising dick.
Just fed up with your 'Peace in Our Time' piffle. If it was left to the likes of you we'd all roll over & die.
They've crossed the line.

Seems clearly apparent to me that NW is obviously a Sisu plant. :D

The worst thing that could happen is SISU stay.

The best thing that could happen is SISU go.

What do people actually mean when they say we go bust?

There are people waiting in the wings who want to buy CCFC.

We won't go bust.

There are people waiting in the wings who want to buy ACL. If ACL were to get into financial difficulty they can sell to anyone they want to or not want to.
