Im getting fed up now i am one of the fans who is giving him stick.
I loved him as a player last year, but if its true he said he was staying and hes just gone straight to brum then, i dont give one about him
i dont get why fans are having ago at fans for giving him abuse, hes told andy thorn that he was going to sign a two year deal, yet a week later he goes straight to our local rivals and signs for the money.
I have spoke to a few brum fans who are mates and they are saying that most brum fans are angry at the decision to sign him, so he might get stick from his own fans, yet hes going there just for the money.

If marlon king goes he is a money grabbing:jerkit:

It's okay to have 13 convictions for motoring offences, theft and assault but god help you should you decide to earn more money or play in Europe.

He's a bad one, I'm surprised you're so surprised.

There's no way it's fickle to give him stick for this. You can't expect fans to understand if you say how much you owe the fans and how grateful you are, and then move for a bigger contract after committing verbally.

Clearly, the 'I owe so much to the fans' speech was a load of hot air.

Football fans all over the world are fickle. With the King saga, it has left a bitter after taste. Casting my mind back to the end of the season I recall King stating he had paid us back. That is bollocks. He played superbly for about 10 games. In other matches before those final 10 or so games he was either unfit or sent off. He has in no way IMHO paid us back. I felt and feel he owed us at least another season. To me now, his performances in those last 10 or so games were for the shop window. If he had stayed he would tome have shown he has gone some way in redeeming his character, now,it just proves he is the type of man we all thought he was.

TBH i don't think deep down any of us are that surprised, we are more angry.

The amount of s*** we took of other fans when he signed, for what? Some of us defended him, some of us welcomed him, some of us accepted it even though we didn't like it. Eventually most of us took him (as a player) to our hearts, sang his named, clapped him with hands in the air and we even named him player of the year!

For him to score 13 goals in half a season and then decide he's done his job and he needs bigger things, isn't on! I doubt very much brum will go far in europe, they will lose alot of thier better players so won't be a class above everyone else in the league and he probably won't be first choice striker if Mcliesh has some money to spend!

To lead us fans (who have "overwhelmed him", his words) on this trail of he will sign, he won't sign, he will sign, he won't sign, he IS signing, he ISN't signing...is bang out of order. I realise that most players don't have loyaties anymore but a player in his postion should maybe consider the feelings and recognise the efforts of those who have took him from the gutter and put him back on his feet!
