Yellow, or orange? Some of the yellow ones are sound. All the orange one's are programmed clones, bit like Stormtrooper's.

Actually it weren't a high viz thinking about it, it was one of those dark blue vests with the CCFC logo on it, it was when we were queuing outside

I believe Les Reid and his sources - NO DEAL HAS BEEN DONE.

And like I keep saying, why should ACL deal with SISU? Freeze them out, tell us where your groundshare is Timmie, better still get the hell out our our club SISU !!

Just to confirm the idea of a deal having been struck for CCFC to play at the Ricoh next season has been denied by all sides. All have said it's simply not true.

Sad, in my opinion, because common sense says to me that both sides need each other (&, it might be argued, they deserve each other!), but I'm afraid that's how it is.

As for Nene Park, apart from the fact that it's not (obviously) in the West Midlands which the League has, apparently, stipulated must be the location for any ground share, the strong rumour in Northamptonshire is that Peterborough United may move there temporarily.

But - hey - this is football and everything might be different any time soon.

How long can SISU/Otium leave it until they announce where we can play? Surely season tickets have to be on sale by a certain date?

Indeed, doesn't the phrase go, "a week is a long time in football". No wait, that was politics...no, that's still football :(

Do think there will a lot more angry fans if it were to be Nene Park. The further away we go the less likelihood of fans going I would say.

Whilst we all agree "both sides need each other" that applies ONLY to CCFC and the Ricoh - IT DOES NOT INCLUDE SISU THOUGH. New owners welcome by the fans and ACL. :claping hands:

Indeed.

I just want to see my team play in Coventry.

Who owns us has to be secondary.

I believe the threat of moving was nothing more than bluster and that there is discussion between ACL and SISU going on now.

If I was on the ACL side, I wouldn't be able to stop myself pointing out to SISU that if they could afford the £3m a year, or so, to finance a new stadium, then a rent of £2m a year for the Ricoh is a bargain and start haggling from there.

I agree gaz, it is up to SISU to carry out their threat to move at this stage. They've said it, so lets see it & see the storm of protest when & if they actually make the mistake of moving the club out of its home town.

But I do not believe they will announce anything until very late in the day, after the results of their attack on CCC's actions in rescheduling ACL debt via a judicial review become clear..

First 'home' game is 10th Aug & review results due "6 weeks from 10th Jun", around last week of July.. so I'd expect an announcement at the end of July/first week in August.

Sorry folks.. nothing doing till then..

SISU turned down the chance of £400 thousand a year rent and food and beverages money to lose 8000 fans plus a year to have no where as up to now of playing what good business people they are.Why would the FL sanction them with nowhere to play.

As I said, firmly denied by ALL sides today. Very firmly denied.

Jeez, you've really got it in for me just lately, ain't ya?

Yeah, 'cos people who hate SISU lack principles, whereas SISU themselves, of course never have a problem with such notions!

Still, I'm sure you'll be pointing out shortly that Fisher has been lying to supporters all Summer, just in the interests of even-handedness :)

We are still in admin so doesn'tPA have to sort all this shit out?

Only if Otium fail to complete the acquisition process. His brief was to dispose of the assets, whatever they amounted to, nothing more. That he has done, subject to all aspects being completed by the purchaser.

Not so sure Otis. Any fans willing to treck to Walsall , Brum ETC would be no further inconvenienced really ,they will all take around an hour. Although The league stipulate the conurbation of the west Midlands ,one aspect SISU could attempt to use to swing league opinion would be fan Security/Safety .Also a benefit is It would uniquely be for City fans ,and eventually through custom/Apathy etc could become the home they refer to but not here ,offers the potential to pick up some of those old R+D fans ??:thinking about::thinking about::mad:

If this is true then I believe SISU is preparing to sell during the coming season. SISU is not stupid.. they surely know that they are now fighting a lost cause in trying to win the supporters over resulting in limited cash flow for them.

Quite the opposite actually grandad....a sensible low rent interim arrangement that allows SISU to divest much needed funds into the team whilst the long term future is still under debate. Think some of you would actually prefer we played elswhere so you could carry on hurrumphing and snorting instead of getting on with supporting the club.

As we're still in admin, no ground details can be disclosed.
Surely it's in PA's best interest to keep City at the Ricoh, at least for the three years.

See previous post re PA's role, but you are almost right - the League will not sanction any ground share or similar while the club, or part of it, remains in administration. However, if CCFC continues to play at the Ricoh, the arrangement would no doubt be noted by the League, but there is nothing new for them to approve. So it is probable that a deal, if there was one, to stay at the Ricoh could be announced regardless. However, to repeat, all sides have denied that a deal has been struck.

Hi Stuart; I am very pleased that you have decided to join our site and am appreciative of your comments BUT can I ask what led to your decision? Absolutely no ulterior motive in my question.....just interested to know.

Stuart, bet this rumbles on till the last possible moment, as all things connected with CCFC always do.
Wish the ground is confirmed & season tickets issued!!
Coventry fans are fickle & bet if the team perform well, we will still get 10k @ Walsall or even Warsaw despite all the negativity!

Actually, that isn't all his brief amounts to.

Under insolvency law, an administrator isn't merely an external sales agent for the business and its assets. He is also tasked with running the business - hence why ACL have said they'll only deal with the administrator rather than TF: TF has no role to play until administration comes to an end.

Yeah, me for one.

My worst-case scenario is that everyone forgives them if/when they come back to The Ricoh and they have more licence to carry on destroying the club. I do however accept that I am in the hardline minority in this-most fans what the club back in Coventry, period.
