1) Pitch was not bad at this stage last season & previous seasons
2) Cut backs in pitch care have lead to a poor quality pitch

Hes built in confidence thats or sure FF! I wasnt being critical, i just thought he'd shown signs to suggest he'd been played when he wasnt quite ready. But he has improved after a shaky start.

Best chances this half were Two great chances put wide by Brentford. One where Clayton (i think it is) beat our 2 CB's for pace, Murphy went wandering and got lobbed, but the ball bounced just wide, then a header went past the far post After Woody didnt challenge for a header

Funny old game. At times we've been shite, at times pretty good. Just need more of the latter and we might be ok.

Wilson pretty lonely up front on his own but faring alright. When the mf trio support him it looks good. Both wing backs playing alright as well.

If we could get the middle three movinmg around then we might actually start playing flowing football again.
