Where would your loyalties be? I only ask because I think ACL could offer the Ricoh on the cheap to the wonders of Nuneaton....

Why would ACL offer the Ricoh cheap to Nuneaton, but unrealistic to Cov ??

OyJimmy's lost the plot. Its whereabouts were sketchy enough where he was concerned as it was.

Well, good luck Nuneaton with your new landlords. They'll charge top dollar, you know.

err, exactly why would Boro move to the Ricoh? They don't exactly pack em in at Liberty Way, what would they do with another 30k empty seats?

Because ACL would try to morph Nuneaton into Cov (they are wat 1 0r 2 leagues down?) and their fan base would double overnight as Ccfc is paying 28 mies away.

Might sound daft but actually not daft if you running ACL. Didn't Liverpool start because the owners of Evertons ground kicked them out and started Liverpool?

Then there is MK dons..... It's been done before

Why would Nuneaton want to play in Coventry? They wouldnt, they have thier own ground.

You would have to be a complete bunch of muppets to want to play in a different town/City.

Oh hang on....

This is mental, why would ACL look to run a club themselves?

Where would the money come from?! I thought the moralists on here were against a council spending money on a football club?

They can hardly run the business they have now let alone a football club as well.

unlikely to be Walsall

Saddlers fan in peace.

Very unlikely to be Walsall for you guys.

Our chairman/owner and other club officials have been very vocal over a number of years about responsible financial management of clubs.

We do not own our ground it is owned by the club owners pension fund and charges the club more than the £400k a year you are being asked to pay a year in rent which has to be paid out of the club revenue derived from match day activities and commercial activities.

This has been a subject of much agro between fans and the club/owner for some years with many fans seeing it as him taking money out the club.
You can see the position it would put him in and also our pitch isn't in a condition to stand to teams at the moment.

Much more likely to be brum as they have considered such deals before including with us which led to a revolt and our current owner taking over the club.

Would hope it's not in fairness although I have to say our pitch can't be much better than yours...Got a soft spot for Walsall as one of my best mates is Jamie Patterson's Dad and I'm going up on the bank Holiday game as a guest of the club. However if we ended up playing there for the next 3 or 4 years I would no longer be a CCFC fan....the clue is in the title...C.O.V.E.N.T.R.Y.... and if these utter wankers think they can coax loyal fans into a supporting a move which no matter what anyone says would inevitably be long term then they're more deluded than they've demonstrated so far....and that's saying something.

I hope your right. One question though ,where has all the hatred come from the last few weeks ? Wallsall are a team who we've hardly come across in my 47 years so i can't understand the comments about German bombers , Hitler having the right idea etc . Talking about putting the champagne on ice when were deducted 10 pts , describing us as cheats . Its either small club syndrome or the fact it would give you an outside chance of the play offs , i'm not sure which.
Any way thanks for your input but i'm hoping to visit Wallsall just the once this season !!

If city do go, they will put a roof on, and turn it into a 100% exhibition centre - then watch the profits rise - why else would sisu be so desperate to get a busted flush club?

It didn't work out too badly for Brighton, did it?

I don't get your point...they played in a suburb of Brighton, not in a different town or city altogether which seems like the likely outcome here. Also I wouldn't trust these twats to build a lego house let alone a brand new stadium. It was bad enough with 'Arena Whenever'......I mean 'Arena 2OOO' or whatever it became. I can only imagine the shambles that these clowns being in charge of building a new stadium would preside over if they choose to go down that road.

They played at Gillingham before the Withdean

All this speculation is just feeding everyone paranoia! Or so the voices in my head are telling me.
SISU might have a plan for SISU but not for CCFC, their fans or the city. The Council have their own agenda which considering they are elected officials might change if Cov fans get their arses to the ballot box next time round. On Cov's badges there is an elephant - it stands for the white elephant that the Ricoh will become.
Where is the DeLoren time machine so we can go 'Back To The Future' & fix this chaos. Doesn't seem the situation is making anyone happy.

We're all doomed!
