The Stadium (3 Viewers)

Positives :

WiFi finally worked inside the stadium
Bar in the shop looks good - but will be rammed as people see it as an option
Digital tickets worked ok and no one locked out although it really slowed down entry
Pre match build up fine but no improvement on the guy who used to do it. Ghost Town a bit weird for prematch

Negatives :

Doug asked everyone to be in the ground for 2 but turnstiles didn’t open until after 1.30- could this be earlier to spread the entry ?
Unused seats with no resale /transfer option
Poor bar and catering facilities with unacceptable queue length due to speed of service
Fanzone inside a bit underwhelming but at least was dry
Scoreboard - live feed a bit pointless with no replays and a very basic camera angle

All in all felt it was a bit unprepared for a sell out when we had plenty last year to understand what it’s like. Weather didn’t help- everyone just wanted to be out of the rain somewhere .

They need a seperate entrance to the Drive Experience Bar. Making people queue in the same line as for the shop is silly.

Just had a feedback survey for our balcony bar experience lol hope they read it all

Same here already sent back, I bet we don't get any feedback.

Not the stadium itself, but close by. Demolition has started, but not sure when they will start construction as don't think latest planning app is in just yet. Two drive-thru restaurants and an EV charging hub.

Wonder what they are going to be? A McDonalds with one so close at Gallagher?

Be interesting to see how long the charging cables last with the neighbours....

They haven't said, but one will be a coffee place (so one of two chains I imagine).

Wasn't it some sort of traveller site not so long ago?

This really bothers me.

Anybody know why it just stops?
Is this by the shop? They painted that section grey when the eon signage went up so I assume it either had to stay grey as part of that deal or as it was done relatively recently it was deemed it didn't need re-doing.

I know it’s been mentioned elsewhere but the choice of beer really is horrendous. It can’t be a purely PL thing as the away games have had better choice. So I assume Carling / Molson Coors are just the highest bidder, but it genuinely puts me off having a pint in the ground.

I went to the fans zone yesterday and it was the same, with the exception of one small Guinness Bar which of course had a continuously massive queue. Plus Madri as a lager.

How many years in the stadium and we still can’t get the queuing system sorted. Why is it always so slow? And trying to navigate from the fans village side to the opposite is a nightmare through the fans queuing. Nearly kicked off a few times yesterday with fans thinking others were trying to push in. And this was just after 2:30, so not exactly late.

Everything to do with the screen is also terrible. Streaming a game we’re watching live, but a few seconds in delay provides no value. The lack - and inconsistency - of replays is frustrating too. Not sure what the process is at other grounds but it would be useful to know when a VAR check is happening too.

The above is nothing in the scheme of things - and isn’t going to stop fans going - but we’ve absolutely gone backwards in a lot of these aspects which is mental.

People are really starting to annoy me parking on Hen Lane too, the road is closed after the games and there are cones and signs at both ends but you get people driving through the crowds of people walking in the road as they rightly assume the road is closed to traffic

Some of them go at crazy speeds as well when they obviously know there's a lot of people walking in the street. Obviously them getting home a few minutes quicker is more important than anyone else's safety.

Only the junction at the bridge is closed. The road itself is technically open.

The drivers are in the right, the people walking in the middle of the road are the ones in the wrong

Again been said before but the pregame build up is totally uninspiring. Let’s have the players named when they come out with the pyros. Also 1/2 time break absolutely dead. Even the mascots miss a chance to be seen and give their cheeky impressions.

There are cones and a sign blocking the entrance to the road at the wheelwright lane end and the sign says road closed
