Their 2nd Goal

The more I watch it the more it looks like Milan ran into his elbow. Especially from this angle. It's not a foul for me.

What? Were debating if it was a free kick how is whether it was a free kick irrelevant?

People just say any old shit online man.
My point is there is no need for him to stop. If he plays on he can stop the shot on goal. It’s something he does and it costs us. He and Eccles did it all season last year. Just play on!

I would be disappointed if we scored a goal and it was overturned because of that.

I'm more annoyed with the amount of fouls Spurs did where the referee didn't give them a yellow. There were about 3 of those type of tackles on us in the 2nd half that went unpunished. Same against Newcastle where they should have had a few more bookings.

I think its a bit harsh on MVE to say he was weak. An elbow in the face is going to momentarily stun anyone whether it be accidental or not. That stunned reaction & then staying on his feet meant it was not going to be disallowed, but if he had his wits about him & gone down clutching his face rather than staying on his feet I think there is a fair chance it might have been chalked off.

They were "professional" fouling in the last 10 minutes. One player would foul, then another, then another different player, but the Referee never said a word to anybody. It just killed the game until Rushy totally killed it.

Not a foul but can understand why people are questioning it

Need to be tougher really

Not really, it’s the difference between being a winner or looser.

Can you imagine Stuart Pierce going down holding his face in that exact same scenario?

Agree it's not a foul. Milan ambles into the challenge and gets rolled way to easily. If that's Yirenkyi the goal doesn't happen. Yirenkyi needs to be playing RB and FTT should be in CM

Not a foul, he shouldn’t of acted like a baby and went down. Carry on, he was terrible all game.
Fact is it shoukd have saved was an awfull shot not even in corner untill rushworth pushed it there.

If I fucking hear that shit song England's no 1 song again I will implode. Thought it was s a disgrace from. Beginning of season. Please stop stop that shite. Get a fucking grip.

HES NOT ENGLANDS NO1 OR NO TOP 100.

Have you had 100 BEERS?

No foul. For the umpteenth time this season, van Ewijk bottles it. If it was Latibeaudiere or Bidwell every last one of you would be saying how soft it was. But because it’s a favourite who we’re not allowed to speak badly about, people are up in arms.

No foul. Hopefully Lampard has him for being a pussy about this and the rest of his game.

I wasn't convinced it was a foul in the ground, still not convinced it is now either.

However, would be interesting to see if Madley would have given it if MvE immediately went down holding his face.

Doesn't look like a foul to me, take out his long throw, Milan adds absolutely nothing to this team, so disappointed as I thought he would be closer to the level, we need better.

I’ve seen them given which is frustrating, and I’m sure if it was the other way around the goal wouldn’t have stood. The ref was very poor last night. Maddison was all over Cherif for the corner, he pushed him away and the ref goes and talks to Cherif and not Maddison. From that point you could tell which side the ref favoured.
Spurs knew how to break our momentum, and I though the whole going down injured was meant to result in the player going off, to prevent this, but twice the ref allowed there subs to come on. Makes a mockery of the rule

This is my view after watching it again in slow motion this morning. He knocks into Marmoush's arm and this causes it to raise, rather than a deliberate or reckless action. Although there's no way the ref saw exactly that and decided no foul in real time. I do also think if that was the other way around, he gives the foul.

Also along with the persistent fouling from spurs which didn’t get booked, another couple of big decisions didn’t go our way like the corner we never got, and the foul on BTA the ref claimed to play advantage but we didn’t gain an advantage. It was just a very very poor official, who clearly had some big club bias.

You could see MVEs brain working slowly. I've been elbowed look for foul. Sadly all too slow. Should have just kept fighting.
Rushworth needed to do better though.

If he had gone down straight away I think it would’ve been given. But you shouldn’t have to go down and roll around for it to be given

Why so fucking binary, whether it was an accident or not is is pointless now. It was judged no foul which is unfortunate for us. Either way It still hurts to get an elbow to the face, It doesn't instantly mean Milan was shit.

Personally I don't think he was that bad yesterday, there were some strong recovery runs and he linked with Tats well.

People should watch the Van Ewijk foul again, in slo-mo. IMO I strongly believe the defender put his finger in Milan's eye deliberately.
