If heads of agreement were agreed last summer between the Higgs and SISU, then why did SISU not buy???

Surely this could of resulted in us paying little or no rent as SISU would then be on the board of ACL and could of done deals from within to help the club

Regarding regenerating the surrounding area, then I think this should be a requisite for when the club purchase the further 50% of ACL

On that note, how much would the other half cost. If the council are only part of ACL due to the £21m mortgage they took out to enable the Ricoh to be completed, then surely if after aquiring the Higgs share, the cost of the other 50% would be the remaining balance on the mortgage

Would this be viable??? Or is this too simple???

Because ACL are trying to get £21m out of SISU for the control of F&B.

And If i have my facts right, an agreement was made between ACL & the Higgs trust for their share in the Ricoh but when the council came to ratify it (as they have the vote) they told SISU to go do one!

So really the council are trying to get far too much money out of SISU, effectively crippling them in the process.

This is why SISU have pulled out because they are having their hands tide behind their backs by the council.

I'm not saying SISU aren't completely to blame.

Their underhand tactics to try and make ACL go bust by refusing to pay the rent and their inability to fully consider what they were buying into when they purchased CCFC's (aka the rent agreement etc) has brought them to this situation!

If full consideration had been made at the beginning, things might have been different!

The Council / ACL blocked the sale as they have power of veto.

PWKH stated that it never even got to the stage of veto. Council had no part to play in the decision as to why sisu never continued.

Not saying the council wouldn't of tho

As I said, the power of Veto was for the purchase of 50% of the Stadium ownership.

The current rent issue is stalling because of the preposterous £21m that the Council & ACL want for the F&B rights.

And considering we sold them to ACL for £6m, that's a big different.

The Council/ACL are making fools of CCFC with this offer. They want to make money off the company.

And wasn't the veto issue reported in the CET?

Where has his £21m figure come from? I thought other threads had proven this to a red herring even Grendal could not defend that fact hat it was from some considerable time ago. Unless I am mistaken of course!
