Just watched the highlights and pretty sure Cameron should have hooked that away instead of just chesting it straight into the goal...

If Edj and Dickinson were in the correct position, that #7 wouldn't have had the chance...

He's a Bulldozer not a gymnast.. not being unkind here but Nathan's a big lad.. not the most flexible or agile.. if it had been Cyrus or Clarke maybe.. or maybe even Edge.. but he was 30 yards up the pitch having a doze....I don't blame Cameron for the goal

Looked as though he tried to bring it under control to clear before realising he was already over the line. When you're sprinting and looking directly up it can't be hard to lose your bearings like that.

It was similar to what happened away at Watford a few years back where he should have done a bit better. Not his fault for the goal it was edjenguele

Yeah fair points, I wasn't flat out blaming him for the goal. Just didn't realise at the game that it was avoidable.

Not sure why they didn't finish with the back 4 that finished the game vs Crewe. Clarke looked quite comfortable at centre back for me, Crewe aren't a long ball team either and his pace would have done us some good. Instead we get walking in wet cement back in the side.

Agreed Clarke is the only one with a little extra pace in the defensive line.. I thought he was excellent when he came on for Wood on Wednesday.

Clarkes not a CB unless in an emergency situation imo. Hasnt got the right build to play there more often

Horses for course though isn't it... if he plays against a big team a big CF then yes sure I would agree.. but Crewe(generally) are more about movement and passing... more in line with Jordans game?

I agree, looked like Cameron chested it in rather than attempting to hook. Got it all wrong. Part of being a good defender. Haven't seen it on tv, was just in line with it yday.

apparantly the groundsman john ledwidge has had his allowance cut by 50% so thats why the pitch is so crap.unable to reseed or water it.

as a consequence our winning midfield of earlier in the season- full of passing and promise cant do so- which is why the likes of Fleck and Barton aren't used and we have to use the likes of the more robust Jennings, Bailey and co...and their game is stymied. I think this is the worst pitch we have seen at CCFC since 88-89 at HR.
