Arsenal tickets

Trust me when I say nobody is calling you a superfan with 1400 points. Also, if there was no ballot and the rules hadn't changed, then a similar number went to SG's so you still wouldn't have got one.

Happy to help.
I have a ticket, I am lucky in the aspect that the away memberships and x2 home friendlies bumped me up into the 1500 bracket

But I think the people in the 1400 bracket are desperately unlucky

Personally I think more should be done to protect the fans who really did do the miles. Setting the minimum points number so near the threshold for a sellout is wrong and I’d also argue a 2 hour initial window is too short. They’ll be people with 2000 or even 2100 plus points. That’s significantly more than the 1500 set this time, and equates to 10 or more games a season. These are the midweek and long distance matches from 2 and 3 years ago. There should be no possibility that these people miss out on trips like this, either because the numbers have been set too high or they’re stuck in a work meeting, or face system problems or don’t have internet access for one reason or other between 10 and 12. I think they’ll be quite a few things this year that could have shown more regard for the longstanding fans.

Others will disagree I know.

If tickets went to supporters clubs many of those would be above the points threshold anyway, whereas all the ballot winners are guaranteed to be below. So that’s wrong.

Mate no need for that because you didn't have enough points to get a ticket.

Wishing harm on someone you utter c**t of human.

I think he out qualifies me for that title. Multiple gloating posts. If he didn’t expect a reaction then he’s a twat. And if he wanted the reactions then he’s even more of a twat.

Can we get this guy band as I'm sure we don't want to associate with people who wish bad on any other Coventry supporter?

They could easily give the top bracket all of Monday to buy and then start moving down the threshold on Tuesday. Would help avoid the scramble.

so yeah that deserves hi getting at the least hurt on his way to the game does it?

So you believe I want him to actually come to some harm do you? Have you heard of people saying things in the heat of the moment?

And you’re the last person to lecture people about writing angry replies, the majority of your posts fit into that category.

Pot, kettle, black.

So no apology made then. The infantino approach adopted i see

The sold out article on the website was put up before 12:00. So how was that possible unless they allowed the 1500+ to buy for people with less than 1500 points.

Or the Club is giving tickets to other groups.
How many come out of the allocation for disabled and carers

Am I to assume those who got in the ballot would have been contacted by now?

I am pretty gutted tbh. I'll be extra careful now not to trip up on the way to the Emirates. Hopefully the excitement of having enough points doesn't make me smile so much that I have a heeart attack, but if I do I'll leave a note and a separate fund in my will for my family to carry on buying my ticket and not using it just to stop the berk from Berks getting one.

See his latest comment that followed yours, carried on the gloating. That’s acceptable is it? Is that the attitude of all the 1500+ supporters? Look down on anyone else? Are you all going to put up little gloating messages? Can’t wait.

Entitled or what. Hope something doesn’t happen to you on the way to the match. That would be so unfortunate.

What a c**t you are. Shit emoji this post, you fucking fanny.

Maybe unsurprisingly but the sales suggest almost 100% uptake on tickets for those eligible. Not good for anyone below 1500.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the top bracket moves to 1600 and then stays there for the 3,000 allocation matches.

still a proper cuntish thing to say because you didn't get a ticket and someone wound you up over it

Was always going to be people annoyed at the outcome .

I accepted the ballot , but i was never a fan of people having the ability to buy points with these memberships .

Either way , its here and its going to be all season

Mate chill.

I've had a season ticket for donkeys, but because I could only make 2 or 3 aways at a push for years, I'm in the 1300 bracket and will not get to a game away this season unless I fluke the ballot. It is what it is, is it now a closed shop? Yes id say so as if you aint got 1500 now, you aren't getting the chance to go to away games to bump your points up. But those in 1500 and above have put the hard yards in and are rewarded for it.

Probably sounds very hypocritical after my beggy Arsenal tickets post, but I could only get 2 of the 3 needed so knocked it on the head. Am I gutted? Course I fucking am, but nothings going to change it is it? Cant be making comments wishing harm on other supporters because you aint got what's needed for it

I'm going to make a sign to take the Emirates now:

'Wish you were here to the berk from Berks'

I actually think the clamour for Manchester City tickets will be bigger, there are a fair few of our fans who will have seen us play at the Emirates, possibly twice

The Etihad is going to be a new ground for pretty much all of our fans and a Saturday session on the train/coach to Manchester for a 3pm kick off is also more appealing than getting to and from the capital on a Friday night

For Nott'm Forest, I think if we have a poor start some tickets may filter down the points brackets a little bit more as it is a ground we have played at plenty of times - Then again you could also suggest the fact it is down the road could offset that

And this is why the ballot doesn't and never has sat right with me - I don't like the fact someone who has passed up plenty of opportunities to go to away games in the past can be fast tracked to the front of the queue over someone on 1400 points who, despite not attending religiously has invested far more time and effort into the club

Say that however and the newcomers sneer at you and call you a 'Super fan' who wants to keep away games a closed shop

End of the day, there will be no need for a ballot system next season if we are relegated and that says all you need to know about it for me

Couldnt agree more.

By the way , you imagine some fans who pushed for this ballot saying it was a closed shop have themselves probably missed out , not many but a few

Someone on twitter actually posted that the away ballot makes it more of a closed shop than it was before!!

I've only got 740 points and have never made it to an away game before, other than Wembley (which doesn't count) and a pre-season at MK Dons.

Under the old system, I would never have been able to got to an away match this year (even through a supporters club), yet me and my boy are off to the Emirates!!

God bless Doug. Absolutely nailed it as far as I'm concerned.
