Happy with this, aside from two kits (the green/black hummel anniversary and the pink away just changing the colours of the previous year's away) we've have seven years of kits made for Coventry City rather than someone sticking Coventry City branding on some kits they've already made.

The pink away one is one of my favourite Hummel kits. Just a shame it was following the red and black one

Next seasons shirt will be like the 96 or 97 shirt judging by the clues in the image
Yes it does look chequerboard in the image , that would be interesting. Saddles reckoned 1987 40th anniversary stripes though . As long as it is out early then I’m not sure I am overly bovvered.

Happy with the designs but the quality is proper shite. Classic example of enshitification using what feels like cheaper synthetic fabric every year. My dad's 97/98 kit is in better nick than my 23/24 kit ffs

I wish they'd do a streetwear version of kits - heavy polyester, embroidered badge etc.

Been slightly underwhelmed by the last few after some absolute worldies when Hummel first came in

Can't help but feel we have an absolute banger in the works next
Not if its the rumoured tribute to the cup final kit. Fucking Argentina, Sheffield Wednesday bullshit!

I haven't bought a shirt for years but i do still have our last in season in the Prem shirt so it feels right to get one next season.

We having a whingeing fanbase a lot of the time but I’m genuinely surprised by people moaning at this. Do people not remember the absolute shite we had for about ten years. Hummel has been an absolute revelation and the kits have been fantastic.

maybe the whiners are the ones who didn’t watch us play for ten years

I could see us doing an 87 kit specifically for cup games like we did in the Puma years. We're basically on four kits a year minimum now anyway.

Whatever design they come up with let's have something that's unique not just, copy and paste.

If there's stripes, I'm on the pitch.

I'm whining because every time I buy a Hummel shirt in my size (and I own every one) I never know whether a crop top or a tent is going to arrive on my door step.

And believe me I wish I wasn't watching us play 10 years ago, sadly I was!

A shirt made for fans that is in a more baggy style - similar material as the kits from the 90s so it isn't skin tight. I'm not playing in the bloody thing ffs.

The retro Hummel shirts in the club shop feel far better quality than the current 2025/2026 kit, and are usually cheaper

Irrespective of whether you personally like a particular kit or not from the information we're given sales are consistently strong and there's more thought put into things than in the Puma / Nike years.
Thought into design (though so of them I've thought have been a bit too try hard, like the Angry Bird's/Cofa's Tree) but we need to make sure we've put articles in this contract about quality and delivery.

Some of the quality has been absolutely shocking and I imagine they've had to send loads back because of problems with transfers etc. And we need them on sale over the summer to take advantage of the feel good factor.

But to be honest this season they could absolutely phone it in because it's going to sell well regardless because it's the PL kit.

Overall been v happy with the shirt designs. The year in Brum with both the home and away kits and the two tone special was exceptional.
