Top two is cleatly Robins and Lampard, though hard to rank first and 2nd.

Without the work Robins did Lampard wouldnt have been here, in fact the club might not have been here .
But Robins couldn't quite complete that final step, Lampard has done it in emphatic style, he really has smashed it, and like Robins, without massive resources.

Yeah agreed. I also like that Frank Lampard hasn't ripped up and started from scratch with the work Mark Robins did, and most of the squad he's working with is still pretty much what Robins built.
Lampard has just added what we were really missing, and taken us to the next level.

Outside of Lampard and Robins, I did really like Steven Pressley.
Thought he did a pretty good job and had us playing good football considering the circumstances.
Weren't we in Northampton with a 10 point deduction at the time?

It could be argued it's a bit early to put a manager top of that list after only one and a half seasons, no matter what the achievement when there is someone like MR on the list. It's indisputable what MR has done for the club but I think in terms of management & coaching skills, and what has been achieved by FL, he tops it for me.

Mowbray a bit too high for me.

Ultimately Slade will get the focus, but Mowbray gave him the grenade in which he pulled the pin out of. That transfer window was a disaster.

As for Mark Venus, he was anything but a safe pair of hands!

Agree and they did, but I just felt the length of time AV was here and his input and the fact that MR didn't appear to be as good without him, means I think he deserves more credit than other assistants. Only my opinion though, not hugely precious over it (y)
